You need to seek medical attention. DO NOT rub or massage your calfs, if you indeed do have DVT then it can cause the clot to move and can kill you fast and it's not pretty.

Definitely see a doctor. Even the experts have to go through a checklist to eliminate possibilities. Itchy feet could be down to a new set of clothes, but it could also be an internal bacterial infection. Warm water might solve the problem temporarily, but it doesn't solve the underlying problem in the long term.

If you have a clot in the calve then you will have warmth, swelling, discolouration and increasing pain! And walking will be very uncomfortable in the calve! I have had many clots in my legs (long story) and Ii have self medicated for clots for 12 years now! I have had about 8 clots in my legs, first in the groin, then calve, whole left leg, then back of knee in both and thigh etc.

Send me your symptoms? do you have an image?

If you are symptomatic then go to hospital. Don't panic

Seems odd you know you have a clot but you didn't list any symptoms.

Swelling?
Bilateral or only one leg?

If no swelling I would be less inclined to think it's a clot. Maybe ingrown hair or glands swollen. Or maybe dehydration like everyone else says.

If you have unilateral swelling (one leg) then maybe a clot/dvt.

If you have bilateral swelling I doubt its clots in both legs. Press your finger in the swollen area and does the impression stick around? Does it start off great with no swelling after a night's rest as legs were elevated? This is fluid retention cuz the lymphatic system is not expelling it.

Since you said calves I assume both legs probably have swelling and it's probably bilateral edema. You need to see a doctor. Do not wait. If your family doc cannot see you it's probably hospital worthy. A few tests will get you to the right specialist for the underlying cause. In the mean time drink plenty of water cuz kidneys are a major cause and everyone seems to think you are dehydrated. A prescription for lasix will help with the fluid while they figure out what's really going on.

Walking feels slightly strained.
@kandinsky-I appreciate what your saying. This is more like early stage.

My calves feel stiff sometimes. I may be overreacting- or I might not be.

Btw some of you are a holes. I will see my doctor on monday. I need a provider that will take optima medicaid.

Doctors go through a credentialing process to participate with insurance companies. You can find a doctor usually through the CMS website I think. Hope things get better.
