Very disappointed that Kanye is not playing him.

lol. But Kanye couldn't pull off the enormous amount of adorableness that embodies Freddie.
Kanye would be better suited for something like "Halloween", or "The Mouth that wouldn't Shut-up".

For me, I think the concert scenes will make or break the movie. There are some brief concert footage in the preview and they look good. I even see their legendary Live Aid 85 concert in there which could be epic. Depends on how well they dub Freddie's voice for Rami Malek. I assume that is the case right? I mean nobody is going to sound like Freddie. I think Rami Malek definitely looks the part though.

OMG! I've never seen that, am cracking up.

I had NO idea they are so similar! They could use Kanye in the movie, and then run it on SNL!
Who knew?

Mercury and May, an incredible and rare alignment of total creative musical genius, both so unique in style and perfect in execution, together producing masterpiece after masterpiece.... In any style, of any topic always IMO managed to be nothing short of epic, wanna fill a dancefloor? Easy! Just close your eyes and punch in a random track from any Queen album and watch how real music moves people. Looking forward to checking this out.

Its a No from me, thankyou.....

I was there from the beginning, yes I remember when Killer Queen was played on the radio.....then they sort of disappeared.

Til, Mumma Mia, Mumma Mia, Mumma Mia FigarOoooooooooo.....came out in '76 and we all sang along.

It was only a year from Sheer Heart Attack to Night at the Opera. They were touring. Then another year to Day at the Races. Then another year to News of the World.

Only a month or so ago, saw "Queen"...well Brian May, the Drummer guy and Adam Lambert Show, on their World Tour.

God damn it. I frickin hate it when people dismiss Roger Taylor. Not only a damn good drummer but an incredible vocalist in his own right. That those really high notes in the operatic refrain in BR are his. He actually had more range than Freddie. Wrote some damn good tunes too.

And as far as I know the only one they played in concert:

He did other too but that should do it for one post.

124? Maybe he's an Elf like me. That would make sense.

Always loved this story about Brian May's first guitar. I was lucky to have met him many years ago. He was so down to earth.

I like it when you talk numbers, the day number in Delaware was 8 0 8 and you mentioned two 8's then the night time number was 251 and you said 124 (only one off from a box), keep those numbers coming LOL.

Apparently a new trailer:

Can't help thinking, get of the stage you cow!
That was my role!
Just like I once had a boyfriend who used to shove all the other queens off the dance-floor when The Titanic song came on.
This is My Song!

But now I'm too old.
