This is what happens when the man you elect has:

A Party that applauds law breaking.

A common goal of destroying our America.

And a skin color that was used like a weapon of guilt.

Corruption was a deep river in the Obama Administration.

I don't think I can remember an administration that was not somehow corrupt, though there are degrees of it I guess.

The Obama administration hit record heights in corruption. Between him and much of his Cabinet his term was a vile pit of corruption. Obama was the Al Capone of corruption no offense to Al intended.

Obama was, without doubt, the most corrupt and scandal ridden President (real scandals) of all. He completely abused his power. Maybe the closest the US has come to being run by a dictator.
That he would order his administration to use their power to cripple his politically enemies sums him up as a human being.

Sorry, but CNN didn't cover how Fast and Furious guns ended up used in the Paris shootings or in the shooting death of a Border Patrol Agent.Or weaponizing the IRS, or.., or.., or ...

I can only assume they were not real scandals or else the media would have reported on it.

You can't even compare Obama and his squeaky clean administration with this monster who overfeeds koi, drinks diet coke, and has TWO scoops of ice cream, that indulgent bourgeois bastard.

Great.

The government screws up, the taxpayers foot the bill, and no one goes to jail.

That's a win?

Cant say I am shocked that the GOP controlled DOJ settled with GOP controlled group. Not really the victory you are making it out to be.

I can say I am shocked you still don't get it. But you likely wouldn't get the truth anyway as it smacks of the Progressives defeat....

The fact the judge allowed the case to get on the docket spoke for the legitimacy to be presented to right a wrong. The money for the settlement absolutely saved the US money in legal fees.

It is what it is. The fact it rights a wrong is the win. The money spent is a loss but the cost of freedom is not free!

@whywhynot

Corruption? The Obama administration was a crime spree. Maybe unmatched in history, we'll probably never know the full extent of the looting.

Or the DOJ under GOP control dropped the case and went for settlement because they knew the targeting was BS.

Well, that is not how it works. If their story is BS the judge will dismiss.

That's how it always works, even in the private sector--any wrongdoings that result in a trial or a settlement is money lost by a company which is then recouped by taxing/charging the "customer" in new ways.

It's always the little guy carrying the brunt of it all.

They already admitted letting "policy positions" of groups influence their treatment previously. It's a little too late fo get the cat back in the bag...

And that explains why it was only Conservatives targeted?

It wasn't only conservatives. The "Occupy Wall Street" PACs were stalled by intense scrutiny too.

I'm not trying to make excuses for Obama's IRS' bad conduct. I'm just trying jog people's memory of the "Corporations are People" and "Money is Free Speech" new reality in Washington DC at the time. Billions of dollars in undeclared cash, unlimited donations from anonymous sources were flying around must have shook some people DC up!

I completely agree, but that does not mean that Bush or Trump are any less corrupt than Obama.
