Urgh i don't drink much anymore and haven't done on planes for a while. I got mildly drunk when I went to Cuba, drank at the airport drank for the first couple of hours on the flight. Passed out and woke up feeling rough still with an hour or two left of the flight lol and it's no fun being drunk and having to sit in one spot. The air crew thrown upon dancing up and down the aisles. Flights for me now are maybe a film music and sleep with some added snoring

My Family and I used to Holiday each year at Hemsby, Terrific to watch a pretty regular number fighter planes run exercises up and down the North Sea, or sometimes at Yarmouth.

Two Hill F-35s made a precautionary landing today. They were part of a four ship returning from Switzerland when one developed fuel system problems.

Next batch of 5 F-35's inbound to RAF Marham , I think there were 6 but one had to drop out

I believe these are for 207 SQ which will be the OCU

Six arrived looks like. That brings Marham up to 15, split between 617 and 207 SQ.

lot of difference in the age of these , think 137 was at RIAT in 2016 , are the two older ones the ones used for testing and evaluation in the US and would they be a different software block to the new ones ?

Most likely they're doing weapons integration and software testing. They'll get the new software ahead of the others to verify that everything is good.

Oooh the drone yeah will be nice to see that, must admit though this years show especially on the Sunday looks very thin in the way of aircraft. I'll be going Sunday but now I'll be starting full time trucking from August I'm gonna be earning more money so hopefully next year I might hire a camper van and do a few days

MAZDA flight of two Texas F-16s has diverted into Mildenhall. Four others continued on with their tanker.

Sorry not a post with any info or pictures. But I'm out delivering in the truck and I'm driving to a place in the east of England. My route took me past Mildenhall and had to drive on the road that runs along the perimeter fence of Lakenheath. Having never been to Lakenheath before I didn't realise how big the place was. Didn't see any air traffic but got excited as being high up in a lorry cab I could see into the base, saw a few F-15s parked up I actually said out loud 'oooo eagles!'

Oh and also what a lovely part of the country side Lakenheath is situated
