Sometimes I feel we are getting targeted by some people who work for politicians here. I suppose they hire people to watch the net and spread their political propaganda.

Propaganda, no

Stating sober facts! There’s NOTHING no one can refute in the op

He didn’t even try to lower drug prices, yet he said he would.

Trump didn’t bring peace to Korea, they already had peace.

He almost started a war that they weren’t even considering.

I’m here to have a meaningful discussion. You’ve proven that’s not what you’re here for, so don’t bother please and thanks.

It’s meaningful that I refuted your logic about Trump bringing peace to an area that already had peace.

Threatening to destroy a small country with atomic annihilation isn’t a peace-inducing act.

It’s the sanctions, started way long ago under Clinton that brought Korea to negotiate not the bluster of Trump...

You come off as a pissed off teenager is what I was getting at.

So you lose the argument, now you have to resort to insults.
So whose the teenager?

I meant your request for a link.
You're not likely to get one from the member you requested it of.

The thing about Trump and these particular promises, as the OP indicates, is that he pretended to be a moderate on these issues, but when he got in, to placate his conservative base he abandoned these liberal to moderate issues that many poor and middle-class whites who voted for Obama were deceived to vote for him for.

No. Trump never pretended to be a moderate.
He pretended to be a conservative populist.

The very flimsy argument that Trump will eventually fulfill the promises in the OP is unlikely to no chance.

I didn’t even mention Mexico will pay for the wall promise.

HE WON’T RENEGOTIATE DRUGS FOR MEDICARE

HE WON'T GIVE US UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE BETTER THAN OBAMACARE

HE WON'T GIVE US A FANTASTIC INFRASTRUCTURE BILL

HE WON'T RESCIND NATFA

AND HE DAMN SURE WON'T DRAIN THE SWAMP

ANYBODY WANT TO TAKE ANY ODDS--ILL GIVE 10 TO 1

Semantics. A populist is one who is usually liberal on issues like the 5 broken promises outlined in the op

He gave those promises to get the middle and lower class whites in the rust belt who voted for Obama

He deceived them, in my opinion

It was meant as constructive criticism and it was also accurate unlike your claim we’re all crazy right wingers. Maybe this will clear up my politics for you. I’m currently 34 years old, so was unable to vote for president when Bush won his first term. I didn’t vote in any elections until 2008, when I voted for Obama in my liberal years. In 2012, I was so disappointed with his politics, I didn’t vote again until Trump ran in 2016. At that time I was 33 and well into my current career making a decent living for my family, but felt so stretched due to high tax rates, healthcare, and lack of other available jobs, which directly effect wages if you didn’t know that. So on that note, I’d consider myself pretty moderate since I have sympathy for some liberal policy but have grown to also feel strongly about some conservative ideals. So Id say I’m pretty far from a crazy right winger. A crazy Trunp supporter would have been a more accurate description considering I voted for Trump to shake things up since my entire life I’ve watched these seasoned politicians make promises just to do the opposite once elected. That also describes almost every Trump supporter I personally know. Hope that clears things up for ya.

Many of us predicted this, btw, in many threads and posts. We were right.

Broken promise number one:

He promised to negotiate with drug companies to lower drug prices

Stopped reading there as it's actually being worked on currently.

You don't like him, we know, we don't care. Your toxic hatred won't infect me.

You, like every other "public educated" lib, don't seem to understand, that a President doesn't "make law". Congress makes law. Presidents propose (suggest) "law". Don't bash your (like it or not) President.
You nor I, have a "right" to "healthcare". And it ain't my socialist duty/job to pay for "Your" "Healthcare"..The moral obligation is, I should help if I can and I would. But only when I say, I can. Not being forced to care, goes a long way with me. And I'm not "lawfully/legally bound to.
I like that "catch phrase", "universal healthcare". You libs don't even taste the mental crap you've been fead... Just happy, having something to eat. Nobody in there right mind want your kind of "freedoms" or "rights". Sad fact. But true.

People didn’t vote for Trump because they were crazy. Maybe naïve. But they heard his promises and those rust belt whites who voted for Obama believed him that he would sincerely try to do these things.

NAFTA-- it's being renegotiated
How's that working out?

The top trade representatives of the United States, Mexico and Canada ended the latest round of talks on renegotiating the North American Free Trade without a deal Friday, less than a week before an unofficial deadline to get any agreement through the U.S. Congress.

Mexico's Economy Secretary said technical working groups from the three countries would meet again starting Monday. But Thursday probably marks the last day under procedural deadlines to get a vote under the current U.S. legislature.

Drug prices
You don't think that Medicare, the largest single "market" could successfully negotiate directly with drug manufacturers? But I'm pretty sure that the industry is happy about the change of course, so that's something.

How's it working out? It's slow going. The OP will be the first to bitch if he "unilaterally" withdraws instead of renegotiating. "Families will be devastated by the destruction of free trade and skyrocketing prices of goods, that monster!"

Re: using Medicare to negotiate prices-- part of a multiprong proposal to lower prices. It's only for sponsors of part D and possibly B at the moment. Perhaps that will expand. Is there something particular about the plan you've taken a dislike to, or is this a generic complaint?

You think that's a/the Presidents job? To lower "drug prices"? Have you ever read the Constitution?
Your "healthcare" is not, the Presidents job. Never has been.
Matter of fact? The government (State or Fed) has no obligation to provide "healthcare" and they have no "legal" foundation to even protect you. My advice would be stop drinking the kool aide and stop getting "mandatory shots". You'll be more "healthy" and not see the "doctor" so much (that you can't afford), and not be so dependant on other "citizens" covering your doctor bills... See how that works? It's called giving/duty. Not taking from others.
