Special Counsel Robert Mueller asked a federal judge Tuesday to reject the four-decade-old speedy trial law in the case against 13 Russians and three Russian companies and has asked for an indefinite delay to the Russian collusion trial.

Perhaps mueller does not have an actual case at all......that or he is just a poor excuse for a proscutor

“Speedy trial rights belong to the defendant, and if the defendant pushes for a trial within the 70 days, the government has little cause to complain,” McCarthy said. “If the case was too complex, the government had the option of holding off on seeking an indictment until it was ready to proceed to trial. When a prosecutor files an indictment, it is tantamount to saying, ‘We are ready to go.'”

Guess mueller isn't so "ready to go".

Mueller originally filed the indictment against the Russians on Feb. 16, charging that they “engaged in a multi-year conspiracy” to interfere with the 2016 presidential election. Because none of the defendants were U.S. citizens, law experts said it appeared unlikely that the case would ever go to trial.

Oh lets file lots of legal proceedings that look good on msnbc, oops oh crap they are going to show up.....

It’s “inappropriate for a prosecutor to manufacture complexity and then contend that things are too complex,” McCarthy told TheDCNF. “If a prosecutor is disclosing mountains of foreign language materials without an understanding or explanation of their relevance to the case, that is a delaying tactic and an attempt to chew up the defendant’s resources.”

mueller is a grandstanding buffoon whose bluff has been called, he should be removed for incompetence

Just like how he keeps delaying Flynn's sentencing. It's not because Flynn is cooperating, it's because the charge against Flynn is bogus, and when the sentencing finally does happen, it will necessarily involve considering the severity of Flynn's offense. At this point, it will become obvious that Flynn should never have been charged in the first place. Mueller knows this, and is trying to delay the day of reconning as long as possible.

In a similar vein, the charges against the Russians were purely a PR move. Mueller never expected any of those cases to ever go to court, so of course his staff was wholly unprepared when one of the companies stepped forward to fight the charges. Unprepared to the point where apparently the charges mention subsidiaries that did not exist at the time, and employees that do not actually work for the company.

No worries today at noon the whole investigation will be shut down and hopefully Obama will be going to jail. This # has to stop!
