Re- Introduction..

Once it happened to me that I thought I had something terrible, and I waited for my doctor's diagnosis with great dread. As it happened, it was nothing horrible at all. (I thought I had leukemia, and it was mono after all).

I will hope and keep my fingers crossed, that it's something else that ails you, and not what you fear at all.

Update.. Well had my Hospital visit with a Doctor after transport to the small neurology dept. The same basic test's as my Doctor performed mainly reflexes. The Doctor took all my prepared timeline notes no doubt for his report. He will refer me on to a specialist ALS department at another hospital where they can prod me some more. The Doctor says he also thinks it is ALS but needs to cross T's and dot I's so now awaiting further appointment. Down to 28% in my opinion and a real struggle to walk with my leaden right leg and my weak left. No real good news I have continued to tick down as I have been since November. Ho Hum..

Thanks for your wellwishes angel doll. I still hope for some magic but am at peace with myself for my journey ahead..

hello there! You are more than welcome back again

Well my Angel of a mother visited me today and delivered a cash injection. I can now organise my personal moving on without the thinking of anyone other picking up the costs at a sad time.. Mind rested some more but still hoping for a miracle.. 27% TIANDB.

Still positive although that is not for a good diagnosis, 100% ALS.. I may even not attend the next Hospital appointment if it arrives soon ? I will not go into any depressing descriptions of my symptoms I can still get around indoors anyways..
No treatment available for ALS, they can assist breathing some but my appointment would be for further tests to diagnose.
I will reappraise if I get notified. 24% TIANDB.

Update.. 22% in my estimation. My last Hospital visit I pushed by e-mail for the report to be forwarded well no report was to see light and I ended up with some kind assistance getting his secretary to write up and forward his part report as was on Holiday GGrrr. I had thought after seeing him he would write up my urgent report that night or at least over the few days after. I gave them a week anyway then got others on my case. I have a further appointment now booked for Monday 11th of June for a day case at a specialist neurology unit in Sheffield Uk. I nearly canceled as it stated for speech therapy, occupational therapy and Physiotherapy on the message, I need a friKin Diagnosis not therapy, what good can therapy do with my ticking down daily.
Anyway staying calm and relaxed got my x wife to call and apparently I have an MRI booked and an EMG ? ( Nerve conduction muscle function ) Possible a lumbar puncture eek and a consultant appointment if he can fit me in. I don't talk unless I have to as my voice is so slurred so it will be an interesting day, I am not really looking forward to.. But onward I stumble.
I wonder how things would go if I had riches or some noticeable standing ? A tad quicker I imagine but the same old result.
I don't wish it by the way.. Just some efficiency and Urgency. I Remember my original hospital visit was due in September after seeing my Dozey Doctor, showing all the signs and telling him exactly what I have.

I have in my mind my coming birthday in August I will make it until then maybe ? I intend to start a 44 day Liquid regimen with good water, Nettle tea , Green T with Honey and a small Bio Yoghurt drink daily with a berry smoothy on occasion, my last throw to see if anything alters but also to assist my swallowing tick down.. Still a little hope of some miracle otherwise my adventure awaits.. TIANDB.

Have you heard anything about "golden milk" ?

There is a thread on here about its supposed wonderous properties.

It is worth trying as it costs next to nothing and many swear by it.

I put Gordithedrummer on to it - if you would like his opinion as he has directly experienced its effects, I'm sure he would be glad to hear from you.

If you can't find the thread, you can find Gordi in "the shed" forum.

Thanks, Timely it seems like I have tried all the special brews over the last few years ha maybe my body knew of something amiss ? I will add your golden milk to my regimen in place of the bio yogurt or smoothie ( Not Y Ha ) on occasions..mm Coconut Milk, Coconut oil, Turmeric, Ginger, Cinnamon, black pepper, Cayenne pepper, Nutmeg, Honey.

Mri, Emg, Chest xray, bloods, urine test and other bits and bobs have to stay over for lumbar puncture tomorrow then back on friday for consultant ALS still sure hey ho.

Ha ha spoke to soon 3am and like trying to sleep in a Zoos bedlam and no miracles here.
I don't need this in my final weeks maybe months ? On the 11th floor of a Hospital and one lesser lady has been shouting the place down since afternoon never mind the two ticking clocks the frikkin light on the snoring grunting farting choking sounds gr. The yanks need to hire her to sort the taliban out they would be jumping off the cliffs and good job the windows up here are sealed could be bungie jumping without the bungie. In a neurological ward with some seriously ill folks . I have suggested a bed on the roof whatever the weather or in the dungeon ? Do Hospitals have dungeons ? For me that bed of course ha. On phone so you can poke any spelling errors. Rant over I wanna go home for some peace.
