Ive just read a thread about the US possibly selling India some Patriot (PAC-3).

Forgive me if im wrong, but are these not the same missiles that were used during the first Gulf war to (supposedly) down the scuds flying into Israel? If they are, India's being ripped off. Alot of very high up people admitted that not very many scuds were shot down and when it was reported in the news that one had, it probably hadnt and the story was made up to make the Israeli's think we were doing something about it.
