Truth is far-right and far-left are just dog whistles.
Both are of the same ilk using different methodologies for the same goal - totalitarianism.
Mao did not just kill peasants by the millions, it was the intelligentsia as well.
They are the first to go in fact as they are most likely to raise the alarm and argue rationally against the regime.

Calling for military action is grounds for a drone strike.
Letting threats like this go without any response is setting a bad precedent.

No, the problem is they both are. The right does not embrace extremism, I see lots of liberal support for Antifa and other left extremist organizations.

So the extremists are the same on both sides, the only difference is their mainstream support.

Many of them do, though. But like every other group trying to emulate another they always think "But this time, we'll get it right!"

It's amazing how similar these groups, no matter how right wing/left wing they may espouse to be, all are. When in doubt, go for the violence.

Sounds like a great copout, we will use vague terms and benefit from extremist actions and then deny we are the same group when there is any negative press.

Antifa is antifa, if you don't want to be linked don't be under their umbrella.

The primary effect of groups openly advocating political violence is to attract and concentrate people prone to such violence for government surveillance and monitoring of all contacts for eventual arrest and prosecution.

The fact that their charters invariably read like nearly verbatim quotations of 18 U.S. Code § 2385, violations of which can result in imprisonment for up to twenty years, is a pretty big tip-off.

Meanwhile, to view the world from a perspective of "left-or-right" or any other false dichotomy is to see all things with one eye closed. The lack of depth perception which results constitutes a self-imposed state of perpetual ignorance -- a punishment often far worse than twenty years of imprisonment in a federal penitentiary.

To the extent we can help each other avoid such a miserable fate, we accomplish something far more meaningful and fulfilling than a thousand lifetimes of black-and-white thinking could ever possibly achieve.

The revolution begins within.

As a so-called "American Movement" yeah, it is, it has been appropriated by the DSA and Liberals as more of an activist group that spends its time counter-protesting by yelling at people and than celebrating like they are "stopping fascism"

If you look at places like Europe their Anti-fascists are completely different, no different to when the "anarchist movement" came to the so-called US it became a watered down version of liberal-politics in counteraction to its origins

it is just the willful ignorance of people not being able to accept that "Antifa" is not an organisation, just because people may "identify" or march under that umbrella doesn't mean "that" is the movement, and Antia is coming to "Revolution" or take over anything.

it is the ignorance of people being able to say well these extremist right groups, and neo-fascist/nazi groups, and identitarians are "nothing", we should be focus on the Spooky Antifa just because you believe in some "left-right" political nonsense and they got in a couple fights, and they hurt our feelings by yelling at us

You can´t be pushing your "truth" and speaking about values while stating you are a nihilist. Those do not believe in truth or values by definition.

It's too bad this umbrella of terrorists use fascist tactics to attack innocent people. I guess anti-fascist is the new fascist. Given that both communism and fascism are both left wing ideologies, perhaps you could take your umbrella of violent extremists and f off into a corner somewhere to fight among yourselves.
