I mean look at the source, the rightists are full of hypocrisies, they are the first to cry and whine about "not every Trump supporter is a fascists" yet are the same one that cries and whines "every leftists is an Antifa communist globalists shill Soro's Clinton Obama army etc"

They are the first ones to say that Neo-Nazi groups don't exist (see the NSM, Rise Above Movement, Hammerskin Nation, Patriot Front, Atomwaffen) and again are the first ones to say every protester is Antifa terrorists

yet none of them can actually point to reports on deaths and killings attributed to these spooky "Antifa" (besides the occasional fight) and yet, we can attribute various stabbings, attacks, and murders to one or all of these other groups...

again, consider the source here

I'm not even considering Paddock.

Off the top of my head, Atomwaffen members have been responsible for five murders over the past year. During the investigation of one of these it was discovered that they were planning on blowing up a nuclear power plant. Then of course there was the terrorist attack in Charlottesville. There was a white supremacist that hijacked a train back around October that was thankfully subdued before he could cause any damage.

If you look at the FBI's stats far Right extremists are about as deadly as Muslim terrorists.

Not surprised at all.

All part of the anti-freedom hatefest brought to you by the leftists.

The morons are cannon fodder, but useful cannon fodder.

While they protest, elected officials push for draconian authority and a dismantling of the Constitution.

So the excuse of saying these neo-nazi groups have attacked and killed more than some "Spooky" Antifa is whataboutism?

Both are obviously wrong. But the original post and whole point of this thread is extremely anti left... like 80% of the posts on this website now. Just one big ol wagon of hate towards one side yet completely oblivious to the other side that has more blood on their hands and is just as whack as groups like antifa.

Im just honestly amazed at how polarized Americans are right now. Maybe it's an effect of having only two real options for political parties come voting time, but it never fails to amaze me just how divided you all are.

Turnabout is fair play. Anytime a far Right group is mentioned on this site it gets turned in to a thread about how awful Antifa are.

Sorry if it bugs you but I'm getting fed up with only one side being able to use whataboutisms and not getting called out for it.

You should follow my posting.

In fact, check the next page.

Yes. Because the thread is about Antifa and a specific event that occured.

An antifa group in Los Angeles celebrated May Day by holding a small march, hanging a Trump effigy, and advocating for "revolutionary violence" against the "capitalist state" in order to "create real political power."

Those jacksnips would be the first to run home crying to their momma's if a real war ever began.

Your right its ludicrous to compare these mainstream leftist to an extremist group. These Antifa guys are the militant arm of the democrat party along with cop killers BLM and Black panthers. Most of there narratives are crreds were heard else where in the democrat party before it became their creed. What do your expect the dems elected a terrorist to the presidency with Barak. He was close friends with bill aires.

These arent extremist they are main stream dems.

Meanwhile far Right extremists have been responsible for a number of deaths over the past year and were planning on blowing up a nuclear power plant, among other terrorist attacks. But yeah, Antifa is the real threat to this country.

Just can't answer the question, eh? As someone that tends to lean more to the right, I can tell you that I denounce and do not identify with anyone who wants to blow up a nuclear power plant or cause violence in the name of politics. Now. can you answer the OP's question?

Wait, what? I've never taken seriously any type of claim from anyone that would defend a terrorist group (regardless of leaning) and I'd say just like these fringe groups are not representative of their leaning side, neither are the few on ATS who may make that claim. Too many people nationwide are stuck in this "us or them" mentality and its gotta
! You agree or disagree with ANYTHING and you're tar and feathered by anything else that could be in the same side of the political spectrum. Grow up.

As to the thread: I think the OP was making a point about antifa which is valid. I don't think it should be derailed by crying about "but the other side..." and lose all focus on the group at hand. If there's a problem with another group you'd like to point out, make a parallel thread so both can be discussed independent of each others notoriety and hate, not just to distract from the meat of the topic.

And to the OP, I also don't thinks its fair to blame the whole left for this groups actions. While I will concede that there seems to be this increase of hate speech from the left, I blame our media more than anyone (both sides).

Ignore anything that happens in LA

california is culturally totally disconnected from the rest of the country this wont make it to DC

Just another bunch of losers hoping on a bandwagon in two weeks they will be on another popular topic

Also if we are so disconnected, and terrible people, why is LA the #1 visted City in the United States?

Probably for the same reason people go to the local zoo to watch monkeys throwing poop at the glass.

These people are stupid.

Violence isn't necessary.

The solution to our woes is a non-profit organization with a unique funding mechanism that everyone can get behind.

Free from government control and completely voluntary.

My friends and I are launching our project in just 2 more weeks.

Fingers crossed.

Well, to be fair, I don't believe this is actually an ANTIFA group. They are Maoists. My experience has been that Maoists, in general, do not know much about Mao and much of the circumstances that occurred during his tenure.

But I notice how some of their rhetoric matches that of the Right Wing. Both have discussed openly about the need for a new revolution against the state. The only difference is one blames the capitalist state, which is more correct, and the other blames a socialist/"Deep" state.

Anyone who wants to support Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot or any other mass murderers should be shipped to North Korea and kiss the feet of Fat Boy.
