The irony continues with another Mueller staff member that has conflicts of interest.

They already got rid of at least one, now they hire another.

What's going on here anyway ?

Newest Mueller Prosecutor Donated To Hillary Clinton

The latest addition to special counsel Robert Mueller’s team of prosecutors contributed to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, according to federal campaign records.

Uzo Asonye, an assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, is joining Mueller’s stable of prosecutors to work as local counsel on the case against Paul Manafort, President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman who has been indicted on money laundering and bank fraud charges.

Asonye worked at the firm O’Melveny & Myers before joining the U.S. attorney’s office in 2010. Asonye donated $900 to Clinton’s presidential campaign from January to April 2008, according to Federal Election Commission records. He has not donated to any other national political campaigns since then.

Asonye is just the latest Democrat to join Mueller’s team.

This isn't a story, it's perfectly legal to donate to Presidential campaigns.

Why doesn't Mueller just hire Hillary and Obama to "investigate" Trump?

I'm the first one to say that Mueller and his investigatuon are corrupt and clearly working for Clinton to this day. It's obvious to anyone who isn't blinded and made ignorant and dull by the propoganda they've allowed themselves to be made stupid by.

But, what are the rules for federal officials and prosecutors, etc., and donating or supporting political candidates? Are there rules? Seems like a whole lot of them, on both crooked sides, would be exempt from lots of jobs if that were the case. But I don't know, so surely someone here does and wants to educate on that point. ?

Even if it's allowed, Mueller is either an idiot or so corrupt and believes he is untouchable for not installing someone who doesn't have any obvious candidate alliances (donations). Can he not find ONE person who isn't working for Team Antichrist?

It's more likely the person is a the best at what they do and has the experience to deal with such a case.

Now yeah you probably are corrupt to get there...but I would never pick a lawyer based on his personal beliefs. I would pick ons on his record in law.

Wow, a whole $900 dollars! Totally worth it to jeopardize his career in this high profile case because he once donated and maybe even voted for Clinton!

Must be a slow day at Tucker Carlson's "news" site.

How much did Trump donate to the Clintons again? He must be in on it too!

This thread, this story, is a complete NOTHING BURGER.

Tell that to Mozilla. Their CEO was ousted from the company he built over a $1000 donation to repeal gay marriage.

I bet you were even one of the people calling for him to step down too.

Since you are throwing out accusations of criminal activity and because you seem to be so familiar with 18 U.S. Code § 208. Please show in section (a) where donations to political parties is one of the factors of conflict of interest? If you can you also need to prove that he didnt comply with section (b). After that you would need to put in a request for records described in section (d). Unless they decide not to release said exemption under 5 U.S. Code § 552.

I am sure you went through the effort needed to verify the OP you posted yourself.

Are there ANY investigators on Mueller's team that have not donated to the Hillary campaign?

also from the article.

As The Daily Caller News Foundation has reported, none of Mueller’s prosecutors, which number nearly 20 in all, are registered Republicans. As of February, 13 Mueller lawyers were registered Democrats. A public records search shows Asonye has registered to vote as a Democrat.

At least 12 Mueller attorneys have donated to Democratic political candidates.

...

Andrew Weissmann, a Justice Department lawyer handling the Manafort case for Mueller’s team, reportedly attended Hillary Clinton’s election night party. Weissmann has donated $6,600 to the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton and Obama campaigns.

dailycaller.com...

In addition we have the #1 at the fbi comey disliked trump. #2 McCabe disliked trump and wifes was connected to hillary.

Strzok and page high up at the fbi dislike trump (talked with McCabe about insurance policies against trump)

Fromer head of cia Brennan hates trump. Former head of the NSA clapper hates trump.

And not one person on any investigation we can see that donated to trump[ or supported him in any way.

Meanwhile watch dems foam at the mouth anytime Nunes is connected to anything about how bias he is.

Again, for the dems, if 100% of the investigators are not bias against trump, then they feel its not fair.

Or just call him a lawyer who specializes in white collar crimes and public corruption for the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia?
