It's gone from journalism standards to "just throw whatever negative spin you can on those we don't like".

And people wonder why CNN and other similar sites have such a low viewership.

Eric Garland Dec 2017

Eric Garland posts Twitter thread citing what he says is evidence Bernie Sanders was an "agent of Russian influence."

...At least, that was the theory posted Monday morning by Eric Garland, a “strategic intelligence analyst” with a Twitter following of 170,000 — a following that Garland has built almost entirely on the strength of his commentary on the Trump-Russia collusion scandal.

If you believe one, you believe the other. Sanders is a Russian agent for sure

I think Garland and the Atlantic can take a hike. Why waste clicks on them?

Гоша, что итальянская семья на следующем столе уверена в тишине

Okay, google translates that as:

Gosh, that the Italian family on the next table is confident in silence.

That really does sound like a Kanye West quote.

It's a rather chilling image to see that rendered in Russian Cyrillic...

Indeed.

I've been trying to hit Russia with a rock from my front porch in Alaska, but no joy.

Yep, the Russians are coming!!! My wife is not even a follower of political news and she's been blaming everything on the Russians lately. It's a fad for sure. Lets nuke them just in case!

Can't we just get Rocket Man to do it? I hear he has a few laying around he doesn't need anymore

That's a good idea. Russia even shares a tiny border with North Korea so it's not like his rockets would have to travel all that far to hit parts of Russia too.

They said that Dennis Rodman was a North Korean agent too. Apparently this writer has a hard-on for foreign agents.

I suspect if we took our leaders out of the equation, Americans and Russians would get along just fine. For that matter most of the world.

I wonder if Putin reads our news and laughs himself silly.

That didn't take long for a Left looney to peg the Russia tag onto Kanye West.

When you think about it, "West" is such an obviously fake name made up by KGB agents to make him sound American. Why not just call him DeShawn McFreedom or something.

So a rapper's political views have mattered in the slightest since when now??

Doesn't it? I thought in America artists and famous people's views were all that matter. Not that it's very different anywhere else

You seem to be confused. This thread is about the liberal media's portrayal of a popular rapper.

And Snoop Dogg was an invited guest at Donald's and Melania's wedding, in 2005, and such good friends with Trump, he was given a spot on the Apprentice, in 2007. He and Trump were very chummy.

Now, Snoop is praising Prince Harry for not inviting Trump to his wedding and acting like he hates Trump (and Kanye for being friendly with Trump).

I don't think anything we are *shown* is a true reflection of reality.

I hadn't seen his rant before. Never really payed attention to him besides his music. He's definitely got some good points and he looks at the bigger picture. He's literally being attacked by the MSM. Everything is negative about him now. A lot of it made up BS like this. They just pound a negative portrayal of him into peoples heads for weeks so that it alters their perceptions about it all. I think a lot of people noticed this as well..
