Trump squeeze China,

Do you honestly think China is going to listen to Trump after he started a Trade War with them?

Misguided or what?

Explain why China all of a sudden is pressuring NK to denuclearizse.

Seriously, please explain why China is going against 40 years of policy on NK.

I'll just be over here waiting to hear the hair brained theory you come up with.

Pretty sure at this point, Trump can say that he supports oxygen and I swear you people would hold your breath just to spite him.

Give credit where credit is due.

Apparently they are....

Link

To avoid a Trade War yes. As part of brokering peace in NK no.

Trump has started a trade war also with The EU. So what peace is Trump trying to broker in Europe.

Answers here...............

Trade war with China is just one facet of negotiation. A good negotiator uses every pressure point he/she can to broker the deal. Trump is effectively killing two birds with one stone and all you want to do is despairage his efforts when you should be thanking him. Fact is no one wants a nuclear N Korea and what ever he has done to facilitate that I support....

Do you?

I believe they do yes. I believe the left would rather have a war with NK just so they can loudly proclaim(as the mushroom cloud expands) "I was right! I was right!".

There is no hope for these lunatics. They would prefer war and a destroyed economy just so the predictions they made turned out to be right.

Their TDS has completely broken them.

Apparently you have not noticed but there has BEEN a trade war ongoing with China for a while now. Luckily we have the best man to deal with them doing so right now.

First get your facts straight, then you can distort them as you please.

Why does Kim Jung Un want to talk to Trump about denuclearization in an unprecedented meeting if Trump was no catalyst?

This explains it all.

Just by sitting down with President Trump, Kim Jong Un would get what he craves the most: legitimacy. He wants to be treated as an equal by the global superpower, and a photo opportunity with the most powerful leader in the free world would go a long way to helping him achieve that.

Perhaps President Trumps irrational temperament was enough that China applied additional pressure....any other administration would have taken credit...

Psychology from afar. That always works. Im not sure it’s his psychology so much as it was the crippling sanctions and bombing exercises over the Korean Peninsula, all of them ordered by Trump.

honestly i agree with the OP, trump probably had nothing to do with it, in the first place North Korea finished their nuclear/ICBM program and are probably beginning production. i think North Korea is doing this to distract us and also because they probably feel more confident in their position, they don't need hostages anymore either nor do they need to be aggressive to the south, because they will probably force reunification at the threat of nuclear destruction and the fearful response of the public will force the south to agree.

this is probably a deception, not a real peace deal. remember this, North Korea has broken every agreement they've made with us in the past.

You need to check your so called facts.

For instance, sanctions began against NK long before Trump became President.

Trump may have well had some input into improving relations, but it is China that is calling the shots. Trump is just but a bit player.

Riiight, so why didn't Obama twist China's arm and get them to do this? He just didn't feel like it?

Oh boi, can you imagine if this happened under Obama? The media would be endlessly singing his praises. They would probably erect a statue or something.

If the Leader of South Korea says he deserves a Nobel Peace prize that should tell you something.

I know it's a hard pill to swallow, but he deserves the nomination.

You might not like Trump, but give credit where credit is due.

Look at your previous thread. You said sanctions where ordered by Trump.

No, sanctions where started long before Trump. Trump just continued them.

China has waaaay more to lose in a trade war than the USA, if Trump wanted to get really tough with China regarding trade they would be screwed.
America would actually be better off long term without China as a trade partner, all the finished products they supplied would need to be manufactured in the US.
Chinas factories would start laying off literally millions of people who would then have 0 income while America would build factories employing 10's if not 100's of thousands of people who would now have an income, might even have a genuine need for all those millions of illegal invaders you likely approve of.

It would seem that it is in fact you who is misguided on this issue.

But as for Trump having very little to do with the potential peace you are probably correct, I mean sure the South Korean President said it was thanks to Trump but hes most likely lying, I watched CNN and read the Washington post which both said Trump had little to nothing to do with it and they are both much more reliable sources than the main player in the game
