No one cares about the sex or even the payoff. Just the when and how of the payoff that directly benefited the campaign.

Actually Trump knew his infidelity to Melania would lose him the Christian vote. Trump thought that by paying of Stormie his campaign would benefit.

Now his lies have blown up in his face and Pence is getting ready to take over.

He claims it wasn’t breaking election law, but it obviously was.

''that money was not campaign money, no campaign finance violation''

So Trump paid back $130,000 from his personal bank accounts to the law-firm to Stormy Daniels

How is it breaking the law?

Trump bald-faced lied saying he knew nothing about it.
Cohen lied saying the money came out of his pocket.

Both are morally and ethically bankrupt and have proven nothing they say can be trusted.

As far as your "illegal" question.

Cohen filed documents with the FCC saying he was not reimbursed and Trump knew nothing about it.

Giuliani just left Cohen on the hook for that fraud.

Trump's reimbursement would have been required to be declared as a campaign contribution by Trump. It wasn't.

That's just the obvious thus far.

I'd take the word of Satan over trump.

But isn't Satan trumps overlord or is it Hitler?

He is the guy that Satan tells to go buy him a pack of cigarettes.

On Fox And Friends TODAY!

Rudy Giuliani Makes Things Worse, Explicitly Ties Stormy Daniels Payment to the Election on FOX & Friends www.towleroad.com...

Then, despite claiming the payment was not political but personal, Giuliani added: “Imagine if that came out on October 15, 2016, in the middle of the last debate with Hillary Clinton! … Cohen didn’t even ask. He made it go away. He did his job.”

Brian Klaas

@brianklaas

Giuliani defended the payment made to Daniels this morning on Fox & Friends, saying it had to happen because otherwise the story would have broken right before the election. He's explicitly tying the payment to the campaign. Again, a Trump lawyer opened his mouth & made it worse.

Oh no not just because..

It is very specificly illegal to pay someone off to keep quiet during an election without reporting it as a campaign donation.

Then you should have no problem citing the very specific law. Please, do so. Point us to the legal code in question and, if you can't do so, epic fail.

So, what hell is this "Rawstory" site you keep citing? I've never heard of it before today, and from a quick perusal of their front page they appear to be a left-wing rag.

It is a media outlet that covers national politics and other stories and bills itself as progressive.

The Raw Story (also stylized as RawStory[3]) is an American online news organization founded in 2004 by John Byrne. It covers current national and international political and economic news and publishes its own editorials and investigative pieces. The Raw Story describes itself as progressive, bringing attention to stories that it sees as downplayed or ignored by other media outlets. It is owned by Washington, D.C.-based Raw Story Media, Inc.

The Raw Story has been reported on and featured in The New York Times, The Guardian, LA Weekly, the New York Post, the Toronto Star, The Hill, Rolling Stone, The Advocate, Roll Call,[4] and Mother Jones.[5] With an average 10.7 million readers per month (2015),[6] the site is described by Newsweek as, "Muck, raked: If you're looking for alleged GOP malfeasance, the folks at rawstory.com are frequently scooping the mainstream media."[7]

On August 4, 2008 the Online News Association announced that RawStory.com was a finalist in the 2008 Online Journalism awards in the "Investigative, Small Site" category[8] for the story "The permanent Republican majority",[9] about improper partisan influence in the prosecution of former Governor Don Siegelman of Alabama.

The website's original reporting has also been referenced by MSNBC's Ed Schultz and Lawrence O'Donnell,[10] The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Real Time with Bill Maher and Countdown with Keith Olbermann. It was also referenced in 2011 by The Telegraph newspaper, as being the news website that first revealed a contract had been awarded to Ntrepid by United States Central Command as part of Operation Earnest Voice, intended to deploy operatives to create fake online personas abroad.[11]

Michael Rogers

Michael Rogers (born November 12, 1963[1]) is a partner, Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Raw Story Media, Inc. publishing on-line The Raw Story,[2], Co-owner of Alternet Media, publishers of AlterNet.org[3], Founder and Director of Netroots Connect, an American fundraiser, blogger and gay rights activist in Washington, D.C. He is also known for his work in reporting on closeted gay politicians who are anti-gay.[4] He was the lead subject of the 2009 film Outrage.

Media bias / Fact check - The Raw Story - Bias = left

These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward liberal causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports and omit reporting of information that may damage liberal causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy. See all Left Bias sources.
