I guess $3.60 a gallon in 2012 was courtesy of Obama administration policies.

Thanks for info

I didn't know it has gotten so bad in Canada, but have noticed the traffic from Canada coming here more.
8 bucks an imperial gallon is horrifying.

Oh yes, much more traffic. The Canadians, usually 'new Canadians' bring 2-4 five gallon containers and fill them as well. Apparently, Canadian customs turns a blind eye to it. I don't know if it's that bad in the rest of Canada, but there's also a tiff going on between the NDP-(socialist party) of B.C. and the NDP of Alberta which exports to B.C..

P.S. Keep in mind they have no shortage of oil and reserves. Their exports to the U.S. have dropped as well as their development of reserves due to the lower well head prices.

103,000 jobs in a month is fairly low compared to what job growth was, including at the end of the Obama administration.

Yes Trump has something to do with gas prices, contributing to chaos in the middle east.

Business got it's gigantic tax cut and now it's shafting us as usual.

Well once most of the jobs are filled what else would expect?

Yes, a giant pissing match over the doubling of the existing Kinder Morgan pipeline, already federally approved.
I think if proper spill response programs and funds were set aside for it, we could get on with it.
I have heard a few analysts comment this will not change what we pay at the pump either way..some say we will be paying more even.

Some of the weakest dim witted left wing propaganda I have ever read...

I won’t even attempt to argue this one.

that's strange considering the federal reserve chairman himself said interest rates hasn't been changed, that job growth was at a moderate level and growing recently, that inflation was at an ideal level.

gas prices have nothing to do with any of that, it's going up because demand always grows around summer...

I haven’t paid less than $3 in years, maybe 5-6. Also, it always goes up right before summer. It’s almost $4 around here. Are democrats this petty? Obviously. It’s getting sad to watch now. Just tap out out already.

I wish i was paying $3 a gallon, I'm currently paying nearly $8 here in England, you don't know how lucky you are in the u.s.

Oh yes, my friend, we actually DO know, or at least most the ones that are over 30.

Actually, many of the ones that are UNDER 30 know, or at least the ones that that don't still live in their parent's basement, where they sit, and bitch and moan, and talk about how very difficult this life is, exactly like they were doing BEFORE graduate school.

Oh, and just for the record, sonny boy, it ain't luck.

Thank the traffic gods, I drive a Hybrid.

Renewable energy is the future and it's coming fast, and could also be a reason for the oil prices going up.

Give it 5-7 years and renewables will be the majority of how the world gets its energy.

The oil prices will be around $10 a gallon at that point but it wont much mater.

This is a sign that we should all be investing in renewable energy companies.

As domestic gasoline prices surged to their highest level in three years, President Trump railed against the OPEC oil cartel on Friday, declaring that the group was unjustifiably manipulating supplies for selfish gain.

Trump:

“Looks like OPEC is at it again,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter. “Oil prices are artificially Very High! No good and will not be accepted!”

Yep.. its Trumps fault!

People like the OP are why I remain active in politics. I would rather just be left alone and live my life, but the possibility that people like this could gain political power keeps me vigilant.

Gas usually goes up this time of year. It has nothing to do with Trump, Gas was up higher than this through the years. Blaming this on Trump is dumb. Hopefully it comes back down instead of keeping on climbing like it did years ago.

It is usually the speculators that drive up the price to outragious prices.

I'm pretty sure prices at the pump are directly correlated to oil price per barrel, not Trump.

Here's a couple charts to help visualize it.

The national debt going up will flatten out as tax revenues increase to the government, which lowering taxes historically does.

Point of order: The national debt will flatten or reduce *only if* the lawmakers in DC can exercise restraint and fiscal responsibility.
