To me, "Fake News" isn't only what's being covered by the MSM, but what isn't being covered.

Remember when America found out that Congress paid 17 million in sexual assault claims. How quickly did that story get dropped from the news?

compare it to:

Stormy Daniels, who said she had consensual sex with the President, is always in the news.

One is news, one helps you form an educated opinion on who you vote for. The other one is gossip. interesting(maybe interesting AF to some) but not news.

She is not in the news because she had sex with Trump (are you admitting he lies about it? He says that he didn't. We know he's lying).

She is in the news because Trump's henchman, fixer, paid her $130,000 and lied about it, and is now taking the 5th, all on behalf of the president of the United States, whom people vote for. That $130,000 if paid to further the campaign would be subject to disclosure, and thus could constitute a crime.

That's why it's in the news.

So s justified because it favors Leftists. Got it.

Did I say anything about it being justified or whom it favors?

I never knew something as simple as reading was such a hard task for some of you guys.

It’s actually in the news, constantly, because it’s the only thing the Left can hang a hat on, and barely on, at that. Well, the Left and the never trumpers of the deep state that are furious POTUS 45 first won an election, disrupting the coronation of her majesty HRC, and furious that he continues to disrupt their plans for total globalism and the destruction of the US for personal gain.

While not a fan of some of POTUS 45’s childish behavior, I am a fan of the United States, the US Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. The Left’s constant barrage of nonsense to cause all three of those to fail saddens me deeply...almost as if they don’t appreciate being Americans and the sacrifices of those that came before them, many who died to give them what they have. I am sure many of the Lefts bubble habitants deceased relatives from 20+ years ago back to pre-1776 are constantly turning in their graves, distraught at the the thought of a Socialist or Communist US.

Even though I think it is sad that people such as yourself will say such ridiculous things, I am thankful that you make it very easy to spot who has been brainwashed by propaganda.

I've been hearing that same sort of nonsense since I was a child in the 80's/90's.

Someday I hope you and others like you stumble across an original thought and stop regurgitating the same BS that is spit by propagandists and repeated by the sheep.

This I agree with you on 100%

That's not an example of fake news. It's selective reporting.

I for the life of me cannot see how (tho I guess I shouldn't be surprised) people want to cover anything and everything that is not relevant (or in the least directly impacting their respected lives) and create fake outrage over them.

I believe that all levels of government, need to have an ethics investigation, on every elected official in the country, and anyone found to have questionable ethics needs to be relieved of their position. Misconduct, abuse of power, violation of their oaths to office, etc. All of them, no matter of position.

No, but he did likely commit a felony in violating campaign finance laws to pay her off.

And it seems his lawyer was involved in committing several other serious crimes in covering up this and other stories.

The real story with Stormy is that Trump and his legal team managed to take a fairly minor civil suit, and screw up so much at every step of the way that it's exploded into multiple criminal cases.

I agree the congressional slush fund should be in the news, but that story doesn't have the right promoters. If someone as media savvy as Michael Avenatti were taking up that case, it would be front and center in the news every day.

So you dont want to know about Congress spending your tax dollars for sexual harassment suits, because Trumps Hitler and people might forget if the MSM doesn't keep the barrage constant?

I get it, y'all felt like the op baited you in glossing over Trumps sexual deviance, but if your vision wasn't clouded with hate you would see that these instance are inequitable, and would also want to know why this is not being discussed.

Congress is stealing your money and paying off claims with it, yeah but Trump has paid women off. Bizarro world indeed.

Come on man...speculative.

Not to mention the selective enforcement of said campaign finance laws. There are whataboutisms for days if thats the path it goes down.

And it seems his lawyer was involved in committing several other serious crimes in covering up this and other stories.

Again, speculative. Mueller himself said to not listen to leaks because they are mostly incorrect.

We will have to see what comes in the end. If it were me, i'd have done nothing with her. No one expects Trump to be a faithful husband. It wouldn't have mattered. His voters woulda still voted anyway.

I don't think the Stormy case will take the President down, but it did result in investigating Cohen and showing that he was into some stuff that he shouldn't have been.

Trump almost certainly committed a campaign finance violation here, in fact he had to have because if he didn't the NDA was never legal. I think the courts however will simply rule the NDA (and all the similar NDA's Cohen wrote) invalid, and fall on the side that there was no intent to commit a crime. It might even lead to Trump pushing for some campaign finance reform.

That said, Cohen is in a lot of very serious trouble, as well as Keith Davidson who hasn't had as much press time, but is also involved in this whole thing. And it's quite amusing that they were so unscrupulous that they turned civil cases into criminal ones. The only way this ever comes back to Trump in any way that matters is if it turns out they were committing crimes at Trumps request, and while I wouldn't rule that out, I don't think it's the sort of thing we would charge a sitting President for. The day he's out of office though? I could see it.

As far as what Mueller said, he's not involved in the Cohen investigation, he referred it and has been hands off ever since. While I'm sure he has some idea as to what the pending charges are, it wouldn't be accurate to say he knows everything with that case. In fact, he can't know because he doesn't get access to Cohens files.

Ah I see, so never mind the fact that Trump is a sexual abuser (of multiple accounts), cheated on wives, screwed a porn star, tried to buy her off and all the other morally corrupt things (& this is just in Trumps mess of a sexual arena) that the conservatives of yesteryear would have considered an absolute trainwreck of a human.

Let's throw all that out the window, legitimize that kind of behavior (and defend it to no end), basically give the finger to the women of this country, and look right past the irreversible damage that you've done to the word 'conservative'. That's all ok cause he didn't 'directly' pay? We really are in bizarro world.

I believe the left did that when they had Hillary run for President, twice.

Consensual sex or sexual assault ... Which is actual news?

Glad to be of assistance.

Campaign finance issue is already resolved and dead. Trump paid with personal funds for work Cohen did without being aware what was done.

Whether Trump knew or not is not important, personal funds, dead issue.
