Here comes Facebook and the Zuckerberg of censorship !!

Right on time too.

They now say they have a sure-fire way to rank news orgs and then can censor based on their new little "metric".

Hell-O

This will be good to "track the trackers".

Sheep clipping already started !!

Facebook Has Begun To Rank News Organizations By Trust, Zuckerberg Says

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said Tuesday that the company has already begun to implement a system that ranks news organizations based on trustworthiness, and promotes or suppresses its content based on that metric.

Zuckerberg said the company has gathered data on how consumers perceive news brands by asking them to identify whether they have heard of various publications and if they trust them.

“We put [that data] into the system, and it is acting as a boost or a suppression, and we’re going to dial up the intensity of that over time," he said. "We feel like we have a responsibility to further
down polarization and find common ground.”

Depends who programs the "Metric".

We ALL know what that means right?

Nice move, deep state.

I’m sure many brainwashed people will keep on living in their tiny bubble where everything they know is fabricated by your false industry.

Add to that the hate speech notification.

The masses will accept all of this with fluoride stares and be an individual by conforming to the latest trends.

Facebook, Zuckerberg and trust all in the same sentence? Is this some kind of joke? Isn't this in the wrong forum?

How does this guy get to decide who is honest and who isn't?

This is just a Progressive censorship scheme to circumvent actual free speech laws.

So the measuring stick for 'trusting' a news organization is an individuals perception of that organization? Not actual facts and data?

Didn't think it was possible, but FB just used the kaioken to go full-retard x10.

Dear Democrats,

Y’all lost the 2016 election.
Facebook had nothing to do with it...

Anyhow, cry me a river...

You lost....no changes to Facebooks news algorithm will put your bereft ethos back in power...
Your only option is a coup...maybe Comey, struck, Page, rosenstein and Comey can pull it off...

Hats off to y’all incessant whining and comical hypocrisy...

On that basis, the news organisations that facebark ranks the lowest will actually be the ones to keep an eye on as likely being more trustworthy than all the top ranking ones, which will be propaganda outlets with fake news 24/7 sprinkled with stories with zero substance.

ATS will surely be near the top of the most trusted then.

That's funny, because I was going to write that it sounds like just the type of thing you guys would love. It will give you an idea of where the real news is - all those "low-rated" organizations.

You'll still get your "news," perhaps fewer people will die needlessly as someone won't be trying to shoot-up a non-existent child sex ring in a pizza place. OTOH, from the collective wisdom here, perhaps those sites will be the ones that have the most support and trust.

We know that if it is reported in the NYTimes, the Washington Post, Vanity Fair, NBC, CNN, Time, etc., it'll be thrown out as deep state propaganda. Unless it is an article like the one that the Washington Post broke, where it said that Mueller was the subject of a criminal investigation involving obstruction (but not collusion), and not a target - THOSE articles published by the Washington Post and "trumpeted" (sorry) as "Good News" for Trump - despite it being the exact opposite - WILL be believed wholeheartedly and "always Trumpers" will dance around the fire in joy at the rock-solid reporting.

By the way, no one answered my question that I asked that night. Since Trump is not a "target" (and thus has been cleared according to many here), why has he not yet agreed to meet with Mueller on those obstruction charges?

And why did the Trump team leak all those questions? Leading theory is that the defense lawyers leaked them as a means to show Trump why he shouldn't interview with Mueller - those are not questions he'd enjoy answering. But, if he's "cleared" - as I was told he was - why has he not met with Mueller?

I had the same thought, trust according to who. And to add to it, it's brought to us by FaceBook. Double wham.

I can see it coming:

News sites/orgs ranked, soon to be brought to you by every news publishing website. This should be fun.

The most untrusted social media nightmare is telling us who not to trust?

Start by not trusting FB.

According to gateway pundant it and other conservative sites have seen a double digit drop in referrals, while some liberal sites have seen a 2% increase.

In March 2018 Western Journal also published a study that found conservative publishers were hit the hardest by the recent Facebook algorithm changes. The report found that liberal publishers actually saw a 2 percent increase in traffic. Conservative publishers lost an average of 14 percent in traffic.
