Talk about cool aid?

What has always amazed me is why conservatives seem to worry so much about the taxes the rich pay.

You think they give a damn about you?

You're being very adroitly scammed.

Rich people pay me my salary.

Rich people pay most everyone's salary.

I could give a tinkers damn about rich people personally, I just want more money for what I do!

And it’s your business to lose sleep at night that the rich, the poor babies, pay more taxes.

You want them to pay fewer taxes like a serf cares for the Lord or the duke or the marquise or the king.

And actually, it is our business if we want bridges, roads, schools and cops and firemen...etc, etc, etc.

As an S Corp, you shouldn't be putting employees in quotation marks. But you get to write off 20% of your company's net. That's a good chunk.

But that wasn't Rubio's point. The claim was that the tax cut was going to result in growth which would make the deficit decrease. It doesn't seem to be doing that. But for some reason Republicans don't care about the deficit any more because they get a bit more in their paychecks.

Are you a serf or a duke?

And workers like you allow them to make money, have you thought of that?

One hand washes the other. That’s a law of life.

Little Marco can suck it.

Just goes to show that leftist douche-wads are also republicans.

Glad you did, my return was 1/3 of the previous one.

Or a president.

I wonder would some folks here think it a great privilege to shine Trumps shoes on the white house lawn?

If I were to shine Trumps shoes, I'd charge a buttload and make bank.

Not too proud to work.

Never too proud to work.

The point is why do people take up the cause of rich people’s tax burden who are themselves only a paycheck away from poverty.

I always wondered why.

Yet don't give much of a damn about the poor.

curious thinking

You can bet that if Democrats get elected to the majority, every person who's not on welfare will feel the tax INCREASE that they're campaigning on. There won't be any, "Duhh...Where's the Dims tax increase? I don't feel it."

The tax cuts are for the tax year 2018. That's this year. The withholding tables have been changed so if your federal withholding hasn't changed you may want to talk to your payroll department.

It won't be until 2019, when you actually file your tax returns, that you'll know how much tax you will being paying under the new law.

Take a look yourself. Everyone will get more money in their paycheck.

I didn't . And I would realy like to know why that is?

Maybe because I'm poor? I only make around 20k a year.

That being the case, you wouldn't expect to see much of a change at all.

Not much.
It's a tax cut, not a tax credit.
