Trump builds empires while someone else builds hotels

I know he didn’t build them.
He doesn’t own them either
His “empire” is all an illusion. He probably ‘owns’ a LOT less then you think.

I think you nailed it.

Trump is setting fires to all his hotels because; deflection.

Trump also gave me hemorrhoids for the same reason.

The Formula 1 is on today at the Baku City circuit. I would hazard a guess that all hotels would have been filled up days ago during the qualifying and the town overrun with F! fans and tourists following the circuit.

Consequently, accidents and stupid also increase in unison with this spike. Being a Trump hotel tower, I'm simply putting 2 & 2 together here.

The Grand Prix slowed down fire trucks getting there due to blocked off roads

Judging by his skills of being a good illusionist, sadly, you may be right.

So it was two fires on Saturday at this hotel

BAKU, Azerbaijan — Two fires broke out Saturday at a vacant high-rise building in Azerbaijan’s capital that was intended to be a Trump-branded hotel in the former Soviet republic before Donald Trump was elected as U.S. president.

The first blaze burned the 33-story building in Baku for three hours before firefighters shooting jets of water from trucks extinguished it. No injuries were reported and the incident officially was declared over.

But flames lit up the sky after the tower caught fire again in the evening. It, too, was put out.

After the first blaze, the building had few visible signs of damage to its exterior. Authorities have not given a cause for the fires.

Reflecting the building’s significance in Azerbaijan, Emergency Situations Minister Kamalladin Heydarov was at the scene for the first fire. The ministry said it had started on the 18th floor.

Wouldn't be too far farfetched for Trump to be arranging these fires, knowing he has enough enemies for plausible deniability. Could you imagine an entire presidency motivated by insurance scams?

That's...actually plausible after the dumpster fire disaster of ethics/legality that was Panama for him. If you can't win through strong arming, file claims?

Let me make a wild guess and presume you're a liberal.

Is Trump suddenly off limits to conspiracy theorists?

Conspiracy theory away as much as you like.

But it's telling that when a building is on fire half a world away, the liberal mind quickly jumps to insurance schemes. It's no longer a disease where you spin something as anti-Trump but rather, you immediately spin it as anti-Trump as possible. It's probably so reactionary and embedded within your DNA at this point you don't even realize it. Like hypnosis.

I'm not in the US and find this really funny. If it was 3 Clinton Ptoperties that had burned down in quick succession the Right would be all over it. Because ita Trump the Left are. It's so predictable...

Trump Tower on fire in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku Just weeks weeks after deadly inferno in New York

A SERIOUS fire broke out in Trump International Hotel and Tower in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku overnight, the third blaze in a Trump property this year.
Footage posted online showed firefighters battling the inferno on the middle floors of the 33-storey building, as black smoke poured out of the windows ......

..... Several fire engines responded to the emergency. There have been no reports of injuries so far.
It comes just weeks after a man died when a blaze engulfed Trump Tower in New York City.

Trump Tower on fire in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku ....

Anyways, what’s with all the Trump Tower fires?
I had no idea this was a third one. Says the second was the same tower in New York, which was Electrical issues

He must build # buildings. He doesn’t install sprinklers

Not sure what else to say, I’m supposed to write more.

Given all the lawsuits by contractors that he's apparently treated poorly, I would not be surprised if the buildings are a mish-mash of code enforcement problems. And different countries have different standards for building codes; not sure what those are for this property, but I can say that fro what I've seen a lot of the Middle East has rather... unenforced standards.

That said, I hope no one was hurt in this fire.

It sounds almost like someone may be targeting his properties for arson. Raise his expenses and hit him in the pocketbook.

Wouldn't he be making money off these fires?

Not this one... seeing as how his company dropped the project in 2016.

Trump doesn't own the building he is a licensor. He tells themthey can use the trump name as long as it meets Trump internationals standards. Its owners are Elton and Anar Mammadov . Their company is called Baku XXI Century and any money reinsurance would go to them.

"The building is unfinished and is no longer associated with the U.S. president. The Trump Organization ended its licensing deal for the building one month after Trump was elected president as the firm said it would undo some international projects to avoid conflicts of interest. The New Yorker wrote about the planned hotel that had been under construction since 2008 and called it “Donald Trump’s Worst Deal.”

So ..... unfinished and ..... no longer Trump brand licensed ...... if this report is to be believed, that is.

Why is this in the news? Because a person of repute once had plans with it ....

I do like the awareness of some people for conspiracy assumption.

Have you ever had an insurance claim? Most times you do not gain from something happening. Maybe the rich are able to over insure things but there is always an appraiser sent when I make a claim. I did quite a few insurance jobs when I was building, by the time your finished, the contractor does not get rich and the homeowner does not benefit much. Maybe if you get a new roofing job on an old house where a storm tore the shingles off you gain, but usually it is more inconvenience in setting things up than there is benefit.

gee is it this one??

www.newyorker.com...

they decided to build a high priced hotel in a part of town that no one with that kind of money would want to stay at,

The building, a five-star hotel and residence called the Trump International Hotel & Tower Baku, has never opened, though from the road it looks ready to welcome the public. Reaching the property is surprisingly difficult; the tower stands amid a welter of on-ramps, off-ramps, and overpasses. During the nine days I was in town, I went to the site half a dozen times, and on each occasion I had a comical exchange with a taxi-driver who had no idea which combination of turns would lead to the building’s entrance.

www.newyorker.com...

and I wonder just how long it took for the fire trucks to find the path to it...

and, well, his partners in this deal sounded like some really shady characters..

all in all it wasn't one of trump's greatest deals.
