Well, I put DENYHATE on all the avatars I make, so there will already be text on the avatar. I'll make some different ones and you can choose.

I'm looking forward to it. And BTW I must say your other avatars are flat out awesome. I especially love those ones you got from House of M, which I intend on reading if I can find a place that sells good comics around here.

I just picked up House of M #3 and 4. I really like where the story is going. Wolverine can remember everything and he is kind of the center of the story right now. Oh, and Hawk-eye is in it
.

I decided to go against having the name on there. Nothing looked good on top of that white energy
.

Hope you like it.

Also if you are looking for a comic shop call 1-800-COMIC-BOOK.

OOOoooo.... I like it a lot. Very menacing in a Magneto sort of way. Nice work, and thanks for that avatar Umbrax.

I would say normal looks better.

Yeah I was kinda leaning that way myself, about 55% over 45%. But I still like my Superman better. I still have to edit some little details out, cape is a little too jagged.

The Superman avatar looks cool. I would keep it for a while.

Thanks Umbrax. I noticed something about your avatars, you seem to save a lot of them as jpegs and gifs. Jpegs and gifs have poor quality, try saving as 24-bit maps, tiffs, or pngs. They should keep the same quality as when you edited them.

All my source images are jpg or gif. Will it make a difference when I save the final avatar as a pdf?

Wolverine.

Wolverine.

Yes. With a GIF you can have transparent parts. If you try to have transparent parts with PNGs you will see grey if you use Internet Explorer. the transparent PNG works with FireFox but not Internet explorer. If you do an avatar without tranparent parts then your avatars will look better. Will not have the JPEG compression feel.

Thanks beyondSciFi and jetsetter.
I'll try this out on my next avatar. You guys will have to tell me how it turns out

The PNG is much better than the JPEG.

You must have a much better monitor than I do. I can't tell the difference.
But if you guys can see the improvement I'm going to stick to PNG format.
