The only reasoning against a Steve Rogers death is because of meta stuff.

Chris Evans loves the role and is down to do it forever lol.. and he just murders the role and has becoming a inner fan favorite.

I always see this used as an explanation, but a) NEW contracts can be done, and b) contracts, by their very nature, are CONFIDENTIAL, so no reason it couldn't exist and not be public knowledge. I'd say the studio certainly has a vested reason in keeping a few contracts in secret, just to maintain the secrecy of the outcome.

Marvels rule of threes.

Iron Man 3 movies.

Captain America 3 movies.

Thor 3 movies.

Guardians of the Galaxy is up to two. There is another in the works.

Dr. Strange doesn't die. 2 is in the works.

Avengers is the only outlier.

I just read up coming marvel movies coming in the next few years.

After Avengers 4. It may be just be the last one.

Because they're all new characters.

The deaths in Infinity war will stick according to the Russo's but how they get around it will be pretty mind blowing in my opinion.


The only Character that seems guaranteed is Spiderman, as part 2 is supposed to be the 1st film of phase 4 and set just after the events of Avengers 3 and how it all concludes in 4.


Dr Strange 2 was and is in the works but not guaranteed as per Benedict's remarks that he doesn't know if he will continue playing Dr Strange after Avengers 4.

Guardians 3 will tie up the trilogy and will most likely keep going but with a new team.

After Avengers 4. It may be just be the last one. Because they're all new characters.

The avengers can and will assemble whenever the MCU needs them,

that's the benefit of having new characters introduced, it gives chance to change the roster and keep making billion dollar movies.

In the comics Thanos' father was an Eternal, word is that the Eternal s may show up in phase 4 or after.

Thanos destroying Zandar to get the purple power stone could have created the avenue to bring Nova into the MCU as a hero with his own film or trilogy.

The character played by John C Riley in the first Guardians is the character that survives and comes to earth and finds Richard Rider and gives him his Nova corps suits which has superpowers.

Thats the theory being thrown around.

But both Antman 2 and Capt. M will be tied in to over all story as all the movies are, I just love what Marvel have done.

I think Ant man will be or part of the movie will be happening around the same time as Infinity war, maybe when the new york invasion happens at the start Antman and the wasp were doing their own thing just prior and during.

Their exploration of the Quantum realm and knowledge gained will play a large part in Avengers 4.

It would still be massive but to break records you have to try keeping it suitable for all, anything over 2 hours.45min and most will start getting uncomfortable sitting there.

I love the extended versions of Lord of the Rings, at home its fine and dandy sitting on the couch and being able to pause and go to the can, have a drink, whatever.

in the cinemas its too long.

I start getting uncomfortable after about 2.5 hours so I get it from a selling point to sell tickets at the cinemas.

If its home release movies and we didn't have cinemas then they should make movies that cover everything like a novel does

The Hulk gets no movies though? there is still no explanation with him and how he ended up as a gladiator from Thor ragnorak? or maybe I missed that part?? Because I remember reading some thing from the directors when asked about what happened after age of ultron and why Hulk was not in Civil war.

( I know in the comics that is a part of his story arc to be a space gladiator. But I mean this was never explained in the MCU movies.

Or release the movie 's in 6 month intervals. one in may and the other in November or December I mean there is so much momentum for a Black panther sequel. Your looking at waiting a year and half at the very earliest for that.

Venom looks lackluster at best. It won't suck, but won't be great either.

Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Scarlet Witch movies? Meh.... Hawkeye just seems like it would be a long Green Arrow episode. Black Widow seems like it would basically be a chick spy flick, and Scarlet Witch? That actress has the charisma of a brick wall. Kristen Stewart has range next to this gal.

I've never even seen the first AntMan movie (on my list soon though)...but yeah, I'm betting the second really sets the stage for Avengers 4, along with Captain Marvel. Both of those movies sound fantastic.

I don't know what to believe.

Yeah I agree I am not at all interested in the Venom Story. Or Eddie brock. I understand wanting to flesh out his story might be cool, but without Spider man there is no Eddie brock or Venom. And they don't even cross paths until peter works at the Bugle (I probably didn't spell that right) and our current spider man is still in high school. I don't understand the reasoning behind now making a venom/Eddie brock story when you cant pair it with Spider man.
