That's a no no Tucker. You're way out of line with that comment. Talking too much sense.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson jabbed Republicans on Tuesday for their continued focus on former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton as they set out on the campaign trail.

That strategy, Carlson said, has a glaring problem: Clinton is not running for office, nor is she currently an elected official.

"The appeal is obvious; nobody really likes Hillary Clinton, even people that are paid to pretend they like her," Carlson said on the Tuesday night airing of his show "Tucker Carlson Tonight."

"The downside is, it's not really a relevant argument. Hillary Clinton doesn't run anything anymore — she doesn't represent the modern Democratic Party."

thehill.com...

There are, of course, no shortage of corporate Dems running in these midterms including establishment Democrats. Lord forbid we make mention of this because if we do that may bring about retaliatory responses to c orporate Republicans! We can't have that can we? When even Fox News starts talking sense, at some point you have to realize how far off the mark you are.

Hillary Clinton, a 70 year old career politician having lost two presidential runs against two opponents who had far less political clout and support from the start. Somebody who has been out of political office for years. Somebody who has, over the years, had more than a dozen investigations launched against her and having amounted to little to nothing. She'll be what? 73 by 2020? Millions lost already in her previous attempts. The Hilldog is washed up ain't going to come back after that second Electoral College knock down in 2016. So it's any wonder why the GOP, the right in general, even the great Orange one, continue to be fixated on her and what she's doing?

Maybe people just can't come up with anything of substance to support their positions? Just maybe.

Most of the GOP is as clueless as the Democrats. They (GOP) think they won the Presidential Election, not Trump. They haven't set themselves up very well for 2018 Mid Terms. The GOP has the Money advantage but they don't seem to have made the 2018's a major priority. The Dems have a huge money gap. History has proven that Mid-Terms usually aren't good for the party in power.

That Being said, the Democrats seem just as determined to screw up their opportunity.

I fully expect the GOP to take losses, will they lose both Houses? Don't think so, the Dems have many more Senate Seats in play. The GOP will lose House seats, the question is how many?

Strategic and Tactical errors will haunt the GOP if they get shellacked in November. They had a chance to step on the Dems throats and just let them slide.

That's a great point! Got to give him credit for that!

Hillary doesn't run nothing and isn't running for anything. LOL Why would you run "against" her?

Yet even in these forums she comes up alot. I don't just mean 2016 discussions...she's relevant there, she ran. Even Discussing her book is okay...she did it, she wrote it. She's putting herself out there. But she comes up a lot in other discussions that she doesn't belong in. We give her too much power by continuously bringing her up.

Tucker is absolutely correct.

No need to focus on hillary; just shining a light on how radical the democratic party people are is more than enough to turn the stomachs of many voters.

And of course, they could just have the bold startegy of running on what they honostly intend to do policy wise.

But both partys through that out long ago.

I even think radical is okay to some extent...like say, the Green party platform. But it's the corporate and establishment democrats that seem to be the biggest problem. Pelosi, Boxer etc.

this argument never seems to get old with the low information crowd. It's amazing how you hear over, and over, and over again, how the entire system was corrupt with the Clintons running the show and all the 3 letter agencies battling for a clean space on her ass to plant their lips, and yet, it's celebrated that she was never found guilty of anything.

It's like a giant brain vacuum. She must be an honest person if she wasn't ever found guilty of anything. DERP.

Carson is correct - ol dodgy has been relegated to memes and references to how corrupt folks can be - let her rot there. Time for liberals to have a new leader - someone who will take the party, and potentially the country, in the direction that liberals wish.

I've read some epic tweets from democrats bitch slapping Ol dodgy - hard. She most certainly does not represent where that party is heading.

2 years to go - at this stage, I have no idea how the democrats are going to win the election - there is not even a candidate or anyone on the radar and they have no message of where they want the country to go - its all just reactionary to Trumps decisions. They better step their game up pronto or its going to be over before its even started.

Exactly.

In your mind, she represents "everything wrong."

Therefore, she will never ever be not worth bringing up as a bogey-man when real attention is paid to a real problem within the Trumplican party.

That is why they continue to bring up stories about her, because you can't possibly hate her enough. And the more you hate her, the less you care about what happens if stuff really does come out against Trump - as we are seeing happen more and more frequently, but will not "know" until Mueller presents his findings.

Trump wants to "view" the "Cohen files" - which is really strange since Cohen is Trump's attorney (so we've been told), therefore, Trump should have copies of absolutely everything that Cohen has. I am an attorney, I don't know a single one that writes a single thing about a client that doesn't copy the client.

So, kinda strange there.

But, we should focus on Hillary, as she represents everything wrong with America, like her corporate ties to Goldman Sachs, Trump is fixing that by inviting G.S.'s Sr. Exc VP to the State Dinner last night, along with many other billionaires, including Rupert Murdoch, head of Fox broadcasting, and NO national democrats, THAT is how to "fix America" - destroy democrats in every direction, even if one has to use Russians to do it.

Sadly, you aren't the only one that likely thinks this way.

As one who is a southern redneck Christian flaming progressive liberal, I can tell that liberal sites don't spend all day talking about conservatives as the enemy - Trump? Yes, bc he is incompetent and corrupt, but conservatives? Nope. You are Americans, we will battle you politically, but not as "the enemy" - just fellow Americans.

Obama didn't shut out Republicans from State Dinners, and had Republicans in his Cabinet. But, I could go on forever.

The upside is that she was the last (most "modern") Democratic Party presidential nominee and represents the party's establishment. She also has a long record of saying she is never going to run again and pretending she isn't relevant.....AND then running again and keeping herself relevant.

In the same vein as Trump being guilty of something, they just have to make it stick, even if its not collusion.

It doesn't matter if "she doesn't run anything". A crime (in fact several) is a crime, and should be punished regardless of what party a person belongs to!
