In 1975 a law was passed to force car companies to use a Catalytic converter. That law just by itself has stopped tons of pollutants from entering our atmosphere.

That's just one off the top of my head.
The others are well documented but your going to have to find that out for yourself. You wont learn as much if I do the research work for you.

My guess is you will never try and find an answer to your question.

And yes we did pass the 400ppm and our temperatures have in fact been rising . Good thing we have been doing so much to slow it down or else it would already be to hot for you to deny it's happening. Hopefully we continue to change our ways so that people like you can go to their graves never experiencing climate change that would cause you to change your mind.

And carbon is directly related to temperature as we have been taught

If you don't believe that carbon dioxide has anything to do with temperature could you please explain to me in detail how a green house works?

Hmm.
They told us to raise our levees and we did so. Then, the next high tide/flood came and would have submerged the older levees - the new ones hold.

Hope the best and prepare for the worst.

Nope.

Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a form of radical authoritarian nationalism,[1][2] characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and control of industry and commerce,[3] which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.[4

Fascists believe that liberal democracy is obsolete and they regard the complete mobilization of society under a totalitarian one-party state
as necessary to prepare a nation for armed conflict and to respond effectively to economic difficulties.[12] Such a state is led by a strong leader—such as a dictator and a martial government composed of the members of the governing fascist party—to forge national unity and maintain a stable and orderly society.[12] Fascism rejects assertions that violence is automatically negative in nature and views political violence, war and imperialism as means that can achieve national rejuvenation.[13][14][15][16] Fascists advocate a mixed economy, with the principal goal of achieving autarky through protectionist and interventionist economic policies.[17]

The church of climatology are hyper fascists.

Are you a flatearther, too? Because roundglobe is so very very much obviously fascist, too. /sarc

Really, fascism has nothing to do with science.
This just sounds ridiculous and you should use another word for your criticism.

And what do you mean by this:

Citizen of the Earth.

Nothing belongs to the individual.

Those numbers while smaller still mean big problems for the human race.

Also are you taking in to account that much has been done to slow down climate change and that those higher numbers reflected an reality where nothing would have been done?

If anything I would think that it's our acceptance of man made climate change that has caused us to change our ways and limit the speed at which we pollute the earth.

Or at least we did limit our pollution until trump showed up.

I am not a trump hater but I do think changing environmental laws just so your rich friends can make even more money is real dick move. It's the main reason I will not be voting for him in 2020.

more likely they were just wrong. China never stopped doing any of it and there is alot more of them then everyone else.

Yeah man.

Like I've have no idea what the science says.

Ya know like the climate is a constant state of motion, and is one of the leading reasons for human evolution.

I also never heard about the mother of all eff ups like Flint,Michigan or the Animus River.

Two things that happened under the custodial service of the clueless.

The climate change bull snip has a lot to do with fascism.

Look no further than what the Nazi's did when they hijacked it to push their GD agenda.

This is just more proof that these scientists don't know what the hell they're talking about.
They give us doom porn and miss the ball again and again.
They have become the equivalent to the little boy that cried wolf.

Power they already have for those paying attention.

Hmmm... Wow... a nation taken over by a basically fascist ideologue with connections to people within the fossil fuel industry, whose policy writers on the subject of energy policy are people who used to literally run oil firms, lead by a man who cares nothing for the environment, and has made his position on that clear by recommending a tonne of cuts to the EPA, as well as other related bodies, has a Meteorological Association, whose findings argue with the larger, and more qualified body that is the IPCC?

Good God, man! There's this thing called a 'period' you know... lemme see if I can break this down...

Wikipedia

That sounds more like what the present populist movement is fighting rather than what it is. Not sure what that has to do with the study, though... I guess it just sounded good?

...with connections to people within the fossil fuel industry...

... which is why you guys on the little rock in the middle of the ocean have 'petrol' for your cars. I suppose anyone who studies science must live in a cave and do their studying by torchlight...

...whose policy writers on the subject of energy policy are people who used to literally run oil firms...

Please point out where a writer of this report used to run an oil firm?

...lead by a man who cares nothing for the environment...

I think Trump does care for the environment... maybe not environmentalists though...

...and has made his position on that clear by recommending a tonne of cuts to the EPA, as well as other related bodies

Ah! I get it! Bureaucratic waste is good for the environment!

...has a Meteorological Association, whose findings argue with the larger, and more qualified body that is the IPCC?

What was that definition of fascism again? Oh, yes...

Fascism is a form of radical authoritarian nationalism, characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and control of industry and commerce, which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.

So all we have to do to stop fascism is suppress research that disagrees with the authoritarian power known as the IPCC?

Fight fascism with fascism? Even though the fascism you're fighting with fascism is the opposite of fascism?

That's just the first paragraph... and I think I've made my point. That point, by the way, is that your points are nothing more than wild accusations made in some sort of hysteria-fueled rage at what you don't understand being debated against your religious views. I call that...

Hubristic bloody nonsense.

Well, whadaya know? You managed to get three words right out of all that after all. Good show, old chap!

Bad News?, let me get this right...

in the 70s they told us were headed to an 'Ice Age'
in the 90s they changed it to 'Global Warming'
in the 00s now they say 'Climate Change'
so for the 20s I suggest we tell them 'GTH'

We've seen this in other industries.

Coal.
Fossil fuels.
Firearm.
Banking and finance.
Healthcare.

The moniker of climate change. They get to destroy everything.

Everything they don't like.

They deny that it's authoritarianism, but we all know it is.

Dont forget the gigantic hole in the Ozone layer that was supposed to kill us all by now...

back in the 80s and early 90s women stopped using hair spray , and they made it illegal to put Freon in your own car.

We never learn that all they ever do is lie ...

we have abandoned nothing, we just decided on a more effective strategy to reduce pollution which will benefit everyone more than some worthless tax scheme ever will, without destroying traditional carbon based industry.

sometimes you gotta be patient to resolve problems otherwise there will be disastrous future consequences, those ipcc numbers are just scare tactics designed to benefit the growing "green" technology industry, they are only trying to destroy the competition with propaganda, distorted half-truths and exaggerated information.

the same thing happened when the first two industrial revolutions came about with new technologies, this is the third industrial revolution and this revolution is between carbon green technology and non-carbon green technology.

i'd trust the ams more than some controlled governmental organization created specifically to publish information to support a specific agenda, you all can fall for it but why should we have to follow along like sheep, we'll deal with it just fine and hell even with our recently loosened regulations we still have the strictest environmental regulations of any nation in the world.

See, I do not understand your goal. What is your endgame?
- The burning of fossile fuels and coals?
- Science is abandoned, the dark ages are coming back?

Sorry, but those points seem so.. stupid and pointless? None of them has any positive effect on the world, including fauna, flora and humanity.

Those numbers while smaller still mean big problems for the human race.

According to IPCC computer models, or have you traveled to the future to know for sure?

I mean, it's impossible to prove a negative comment, soooooo...

Also are you taking in to account that much has been done to slow down climate change and that those higher numbers reflected an reality where nothing would have been done?

Oh, so what you're saying is that the scientists--you know, that globular consensus that everyone pretends exists--aren't smart enough to take that into account when inputting data into a computer, but you want us to believe that they're still correct about the "big problems for the human race" that are upcoming?

Either they're smart enough to take that into account, or they are not--if the latter, then I wouldn't go betting the farm on the AGW theory just yet; if the former, that means that they're still wrong about other aspects, too, which then leads to the conclusion about not betting the farm again.

If anything I would think that it's our acceptance of man made climate change that has caused us to change our ways and limit the speed at which we pollute the earth.

If anything, I would think that it's our realization that pollution actually is bad and often has immediate effects on our daily lives and health and environment, and we're willing to do our individual part at the individual or community levels to help counter these effects.

if you think that people really have changed their ways drastically enough to make a difference because constantly proven-wrong projections say something bad will happen in multiple generations from now, I would argue that you're kidding yourself. I'm a firm believe that if we all do our small part as individuals, it will make a dramatic difference overall--not some government bureaucracy coupled with taxation.

Or at least we did limit our pollution until trump showed up.

There it is: "Because Trump."

I am not a trump hater but I do think changing environmental laws just so your rich friends can make even more money is real dick move. It's the main reason I will not be voting for him in 2020.

So, riddle me this: Do you have proof that, since he relaxed or nixed some EPA regs and turned a national park over to the state that this has increased our pollution? Or is this just an ideological belief that, without the heavy hand of government, everyone will be drenching the world with Mercury shot from Super Soakers and just spraying multiple cans of AquaNet out the windows of their Hummers that they only drive directly up hill everywhere with the gas pedal mashed to the floor?

All while still clubbing baby seals for fun and taping together cut-up six-pack plastic rings so that the dolphins' noses get trapped shut and they die slow, painful deaths from starvation, of course. That last part would be done by the toddlers not in car seats sitting up front with the airbag still activated on their side, of course.

I don't think the deniers really understand this so I'll re post. Hopefully they will read it.

Ah yes, "the deniers." No, I'm not offended by your use of that term (since you think anyone calling out your use is doing so because of offense), I feel sorry for you that you believe it appropriate for what should be an intelligent discussion. One would think that people so educated on the topic, as you seem to present yourself to be, would understand that "denier" is not a word applicable to the bulk of people who disagree with the AGW theory.

They deny that it's authoritarianism, but we all know it is.

Well, one tip-off is when they use authority to demand that we heed their warnings about how they're not authoritarian
