How do you know that they weren't mad when obama or whoever did the same things?

Did you ask them how they felt before calling them a hypocrite? Or have you been trained by your team to automatically assume anyone different than you must be a bad person?

Whether they felt a certain way is irrelevant as it did not sway them from playing their part.

But terrymcGuire has a point. I thought for sure this thread would have a bunch of conservatives agreeing that the US is full of stupid people.
I have seen lots of conservatives here talk at length about how dum dems and liberals are. Dems and liberals ARE THE UNITED STATES, just as much as repubs and conservatives, whether you want to admit it or not.

So, with this being true and the fact that dems and libs make up at least half the country, I would say conservatives do agree with this point but don't want to admit that a lefty was right while saying something on cnn.

Leftist mindset.

Apparently people are too stupid to understand that higher taxes, fewer freedoms are a good thing.

Rightist mindset

Apparently people are too stupid to support their own rhetoric and must strawman the other partisan side to justify their own.

It is always refreshing to realize that others can recognize their own kind.

This is what makes being a cognitive individual proud. When others begin to awaken to the reality of their own conditions and surroundings.

(why do people think I am sarcastic ??)

If you don't vote for trump you must hate america.

Manipulation works on both sides.

When are people going to stop playing their games and leave the two party system?

Hmmm, large swathes of the American population are largely ignorant, but somehow, I don't think they are quite the same ones that these two are referencing.

When I think about ignorant people, I think about the ones who somehow get the equivalent to a high school diploma while still being functionally illiterate. Yes, this happens in the larger cities in this country more often than many think, and it's a factor in why so many in the larger cities are unemployable in most jobs.

All too many are blissfully unaware of even basic civics or history.

How many of these same can function with basic math, too?

But I don't think that's the same criteria for "stupid" that was being referenced by these two reporters. Do you?

Agreed, but every time you say this and don't call out fox as well I lose a little respect for you.

You are smart enough to see the scum on both sides . I know you are.

Yes to everyone but me. Did they have ammo to call Obama out and not? Why?

There is truth in your post.

Part of the so called stupid in politics is real but most of it is self centered greed, ego and power seeking. Those who don't see that might qualify as real level stupid.

i sometimes watch fox (just for fun) - and its like watching a surreal puppet-porn-monster-horrorshow. they all look like barbie and kent, acting as the perfect patriots (they arent), and spraying lies and propaganda-bull#. cnn of course is sometimes over the top, especially when they talk about this orange twittermaniac, but they have very interesting docus (about art, the universe, other cultures - i like 'african voices', for example) and, in my opinion, a realistic and curious look whats going on in the rest of the world. iam pretty sure, most of american neonazis, rassists, homophibics, kkk-idiots and so on, watching fox and not cnn. why is that?

Who are you claiming didn't call obama out? And please be specific.

I have a bunch of dem friends and I promise you they called him out on his drone strike bs.

In fact most of them are now telling me that they wouldn't vote for hillary if she runs again. Mostly because of what the dnc did to bernie sanders.

And remember I am talking about people I interact with in real life.
The media would like to make us believe differently.

I watch fox they tell me to hate the dems. I watch cnn they tell me to hate the repubs.

I would rather get to know people in my real life and make up my own mind about who a person is on an individual bases.

The left is not what the media tells you they are.
The right is not what the media tells you they are.

This last statement is for everyone here at ats.

STOP LETTING THE MEDIA AND GOVERNMENT TELL YOU HOW TO FEEL ABOUT YOUR FELLOW AMERICANS.

When I first heard their questions, I wondered if they were purposely being obtuse or were just poor journalists. I concluded that their questions are designed to elicit a response that they can then twist to suit their agendas while appearing to be "hard hitting" by asking the "tough questions." The obvious solution is to never call on either of them again in a press conference. Were they to become invisible to Sarah, they will have to resort to having colleagues ask their questions should the colleagues want to waste an opportunity to ask their own. They will resort to griping about being left out in the cold and some imagined rights. The race card will be played, of course, but the misogyny card won't work.

That's great and all but I don't understand how you're not following this discussion. You eluded to another poster not knowing how they (Acosta, Ryan) felt personally about Obama, I said it's irrelevant due to the fact that they still played their part as in they rarely reported his misdeeds and when they did they tried to explain it away. I don't watch MSM.

I'm american, I've worked in customer service for entirely too long, and I can honestly say that they're not wrong. This country does have a whole lot of stupid people. They're everywhere, they're on both sides of the political spectrum, they're rich, they're poor, and many of them have more power than they really should have.
