huh? can you explain more?
Sure, online forums are where a lot of these people meetup, discuss, and eventually further radicalize each other. They tend to be attracted to
certain forums, on Reddit there is a huge overlap in users between fatpeoplehate, and jailbait. Eventually those people moved to incels. When Trump
came along (and I don't want to get too political here) t_D also got a huge amount of crossover with this group.
Given the content on 4chan (/b/ I think it is? I'm not overly familiar with their forum names) there was a lot of posts there too.
About a year ago I think it was, Reddit as part of trying to clean up it's image closed incels (having closed fph and jailbait in previous years) and
most of the userbase went over to voat. However, even Voat wouldn't put up with them.
I don't want to dismiss it, it's a very real issue, and is a pretty sizable community... some of my friends even came from this group and eventually
got talked out of it by improving their social circle.
That said, it's millions strong, and it mostly consists of a military age, unstable population, that's looking for leadership and a purpose in their
lives. It's the sort of thing that can easily be weaponized.
Some of this group finds their way there because of a poor economic outlook, which makes them feel like they can't afford a relationship or a family.
Others wind up there because they have personality defects they need to work on. Others are just sexist and are attracted to the group.
Regardless of the reason, it's something we should try and fix. I don't know if you ever browsed their subreddit before they got shut down, if you
didn't... go check out redpill now. For as much crap as ATS gets for being fringe these people make ATS look mainstream.
