Yeah, the French jerk-off president is a real fool.

He is a globalist puppet and is trying to get Trump to agree with invading Syria slowly.

Why didn’t they ally with Syria and Russia and defeat ISIS and the jihadis? No, instead they allied with the Saudi backed terrorists to destabilize Syria thereby aiding in killing thousands.

What pure EVIL of the West

From our French Members of ATS, what do you think of Macron? He seems very much the wolf in sheep's clothing to me. Why is toppling Assad in Frances National interest? The same reason we toppled Muammar Gaddafi? How's that working out by the way?

I think he’s a damn fool for what he said.

Why don’t they fix Libya, they destroyed?

So now they want to destroy Syria.

God Bless Putin for saving Syria.

How many times have we heard that ? And how many times have we seen it .?
We will see US troops guarding a pipeline instead of a poppy field.
Funny how we can guard these things for other countries but can be bothered to guard our own border.

The West wont have a chance to rebuild Syria. My guess is the Iranians will do that.
Score 1 for the Iranians.

I think they are going to be busy rebuilding their own places soon.

Seems like as every day goes by, it is looking more likely that the chemical attack in Syria was staged. When are people going to see through this BS?

The west has lied, used fake news, propaganda and false flags in vietam, Iraq and Libya to name but a few. They have funded and armed terrorists when it suits them, to overthrow governments for their own agenda.

This warmongering EU boot licking psychopath should be removed from office.

If he’s so concerned about Syria maybe he should resign the presidency and become an aid worker or something.

China, Russia and Iran have already agreed to help Syria rebuild their country which was destroyed by the West’s puppet armies. There is no part for Vichy Macron to play in Syria.

I didn't know that the French and UK were in Syria. How can they leave a country that they are not in, in the first place lol...

Because if it is Russia and Iran who help rebuild Syria, the west can say bye bye to the pipeline from Qatar through Syria into the West. That is what this fake war is about.

You bought into Russian propaganda hook line and sinker. No one but qatar wants that pipeline built. The United States doesn't want it because it wants to supply gas to Europe. The UK doesn't want it because they are siding with Saudi Arabia who opposes it. Qatar and Saudi Arabia are better enemies and Saudis would never allow the pipeline. Without Saudi Arabia the pipeline can't even be started so Syria means nothing.

When I see people mention the pipeline as the reason for Syria I immediately know your clueless when it comes to the middle east and get all your information from RT.

Qatar and Saudis are bitter rivals and seek to control the middle east. Qatar is the home of al jazira and Qatar wants to be seen as the future of the middle east. And they see Saudis as the past and hopes to weaken their power.

We (ie: allied nations of a modern, civilised society) shouldn't get involved in bringing peace or democracy to these sorts of places.

They are very clearly NOT up for freedom, democracy or peace.

That is evident in the past 20 years of war in the middle east.

It just 'aint their thang'.

This is the most blatant tyranny, the most utterly unacceptable colonialism.

Decades and decades have been spent in the healthy deconstruction of toxic imperialism, a deconstruction that is POSITIVE, returns land and title to those who have some actual right to it, and recognises that the creation of empires in and of itself, is NOT healthy, causes economic devastation to the colonies themselves, and has innumerable negative effects on people living in countries and territories which ought, in fairness, to be controlled from within, not without.

The thing that I love LEAST about my nations history, is how much of it my people have spent in conquest over other cultures and locations, none of which we had any right to be doing, and should have known better than to attempt. Until the Nazis came along, the worst thing this country had ever been through, was the occupation of these isles, by the thousand times cursed Romans, and their horde of unmitigated bastards, the infection of these lands with the tyrannical attitude held by all who ever raised a sword for Rome.

Prior to that, although we had our run ins with invaders, and our spats within the tribes and culture which were familiar to our shores already, we had no notion of conquest on a grand scale, no desire for it either. The culture of which our ancestors were a part, had no need for these concepts, no need for empire, only a need for survival and some comfort to make surviving feel pleasant, rather than just a hard slog. But once we had been diseased by our contact with the Roman Empire, things changed. Even after the Romans abandoned their forts, retreated to Rome, there to watch the empire die through stagnation and the collapse of morality, the disease they left behind them remained, in the law they left behind, in the idea of governance and its meaning, in the desire, unnatural to the British isles at the time, for conquest beyond the horizon.

Since then, every other thing of note that the Britons have done in the world, OTHER than the defeat of the Nazis, has been either deeply questionable, or outright evil, and the best example would be the fact that we began to build empires. We should never have permitted this.

And now, here we are again, the Britons getting in on the carve up, ready to install another puppet, without any evidence to damn the current leadership, other than that fabricated by a group of organisations that we KNOW to be unworthy of our trust, and operating on the behalf of forces which deserve neither our respect, nor our appeasement. The intelligence community has been proven time and again, to be acting in the interests of its private sector partners, far and away more than it has ever acted in defence of either my country, or for that matter the United States or France. And here they have the biggest colonialists in the world, the French, the British and the Americans, trying to float yet another carve up, attempting to blame problems that their proxy agents, the terrorists they train, fund and equip, caused.

This will not wash, this is not real, their lies are too transparent and too obvious now, for the people to be fooled as readily as they once were... My only question, perhaps the only one which remains, is what are we going to do about any of this, exactly? We know they are pulling the wool over our eyes, we know they will not relieve us of their disgusting presence without a fight, so what are we going to do about it.

Ladies and gentlemen, fellow members, I beg of you, what is our play? How do we stop this morally defunct trifecta, from achieving their demonstrably evil, underhanded aims, against the threat they themselves created, at the expense of a sovereign state and its leadership?

You cannot seem to see the bigger picture here. What the west has done in the middle East is just part of the bigger plan. A plan that involves Iran too. That plan of course has to be put back becsuse Russia's involvement has put a dent in the plans of the west.

The terrorists that the West armed, like they did in Iraq, like they did in Libya, have almost been beaten, hence the reason they needed a false flag to to stay in Syria.

You really think the West is innocent in all this?

Are you serious!? The troubles we see in the middle East, the rise of terrorism, was becsuse of the ilegal invasions in the middle East.

The west did not invade these countries becsuse they cared about these people. They did not arm terrorists becsuse they cared for the people.

Seriously!

Yes.

Right. So before the Iraq war, there was NO Islamic terrorism, no Sharia Law teachings or extremist actions taken by Muslims in the middle east before the Allied Invasion to initially liberate the illegal occupation of Kuwait by Saddam.

Never mind the theocratic ideologies taught by the middle eastern countries. Nope. It's all the West's fault.

The west did not invade these countries becsuse they cared about these people.

Maybe not. Sure, there were other geopolitical reasons, oil exploits to be had. But your argument is that the terrorism and Islamic extremism is due to the West's involvement. Which is horsesh*t.

They did not arm terrorists becsuse they cared for the people.

They armed the wrong ones. They shouldn't have armed any of them. Afghan and Osama Bin Laden were mistakes, as were taken sides in Iraq, etc.

But Islamic terrorism perpetuated by the beliefs of the Islamic faith were very well established long before the 1990 Iraq war.

Seriously!

Yup, seriously. Go shove your islamic extremism-sympathising rhetoric where the sun doesn't shine.

What a complete load if rubbish! Obviously coming from someone who has their head up their governments #ss!

Please tell me, under Saddam's rule, where were these suicide bombers, thst we see now in Iraq on a daily basis?

And where were isis under Saddam's rule? That right, there was no such group. All this came about when we armed rebels (terrorists) to overthrow Saddam.

And how about the thousands that have died in Iraq due to the West ilegal invasion?

It has not to do with islamic extremism-sympathising
It is about people like you who refuse to see the horrors the west has done too!

The US, France, and their allies should not leave Syria after the conflict is over, but must build a “new Syria,” French President Emmanuel Macron said in an interview with FoxNews.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I support hitting Syria if they wish, but let's not get ourselves into a losing fool's errand like we did in Iraq. Hit it and quit it. If they were looking to actually claim spoils, then maybe we'd have something to build on, but we all know that's not going to happen.
