'Coraline' is a beautifully animated work of art.
But it gets nightmarishly creepy.

Gonna add a local one. this was on the air here in L.A. when I was a small kid. Not really creepy but spooky/funny. It was a live show and they were pretty casual about it - you can hear the crew laughing whenever the host screws up his lines. I used to use Shrimpy as my avatar here.

I haven't seen that one, but Nightmare Before Christmas was tough for me to watch as a kid. My same-age cousins loved it and I was hiding in the corner ready to wet myself

Thinking back, HR Puffinstuff and Lidsville was something that I watched as a kid.

However, as far as creepy goes, I'd have to say some of the stuff my oldest kids watched in the 90s was rather weird:
