The DNC took the hard drives and destroyed them, or wiped them.

What makes you think the DNC would allow anyone to examine the hard drives?

I would hope they both wiped and destroyed them. You just dont keep using a compromised server unless you are poor as hell and have no choice. At the height of the election the DNC was neither.

The DNC let people inspect the server and crowdstrike took a full image of the thing FBI didnt get involved untill 2 months after the hack was detected and a month and a half after the crowdstrike report.

You dont need to physically remove a hard drive to inspect its data. Since it wasnt someone mucking about with the physical hardware you dont need to actually inspect them physically. It was a fully digital hack over the internet not some guy pluging in a dongle or usb stick or changing out hardware.

The DNC would not release the servers to the FBI,
and the FBI requested them. Something to hide?

Sure seems like it.

And Crowdstrike has Russian connections, they can't be trusted.

No warrant?
Seems that most of us on ATS would object to such a request from local police or the FBI. Something to hide?

It seems that if they were so concerned about getting the Ruskies
they would have cooperated with the FBI, no?

I am on ATS, and if someone broke into my house and stole something valuable from me, I would invite the police into my home to investigate the crime.
Most criminals would have a problem with inviting the police inside though.

It seems that the DNC thought that they had handled the situation sufficiently internally. After all, the horse had already gotten out of the barn. Right?

You have a good point. However, the hacking of a computer is not the same thing as a burglary and the FBI, as far as I know, was not asked for assistance.

But what is it that I've been hearing about there being an "image" of the DNC server?

Not really, the forensic tracks would have been available.

Refusing to allow the FBI to examine the servers is like
refusing investigators to take fingerprints.

Good luck.....

Yes. And it seems that it was determined that there were Russian footprints.

Determined by CrowdStrike, who has very suspicious Russian
connections. There are also Russian moles everywhere, including
inside the GHCQ.

Interesting. A Russian based organization said that there were Russian footprints on the DNC server?

You are correct.
A foreign government hacking the server of the largest political party in the US during the lead-on to a Presidential election is not the same as breaking into a home.

Didn't say Russian based. I said suspicious connections....

Look into Dimitri Alperovitch, co founder.

Also CrowdStrike is employed by the DNC, another conflict.

They are the victim you know. Different rules than those of people accused of crimes. Plus the FBI didnt start an investigation until 2 months AFTER the fact.

But facts dont matter to you. So whatever spin you want to fake to get the outcome you need to keep the falsehoods rolling. It seems to be your job at this point to meme and spin every story you can find.
