Hold on - don't the DNC have to sue the Electoral College first?

Remember - Ol dodgy won the popular vote so how exactly does the Trump campaign, Putinontheritz and a popular Soros investment make it to the table?

People, short term memories, lack of street smarts = DNC winning.

Looks Like like they are going the same route they did in the 1970s with Nixon.

Unsure if it will work this time but time will tell. The lawsuit in the 1970s wasnt going the best until the resignation of Nixon.

I am mystified here.

What is it that they hope to achieve?

What kind of path to victory do they see here?

Some more info has come out. The DNC is claiming Russia, Wikileaks and the Trump campaign "colluded" to hack into the DNC files to swing the election into Trump's favor.

I for one hope the Republicans allow this suit to go forward. It allows them to argue to the court the servers in question were never officially forensically examined by law enforcement. I can only imagine the discovery phase and how well that is going to be received by democrats. I dont know what the hell Democrats thought they were doing by going down this road.

Democrats have officially launched Operation: Out of the Frying Pan.

I like to make fun of the Trump 4D chess thing, because its absurd (although im aware its simply a troll).

But seriously...the DNC isn't playing chess.

I'd say they are hoping to pander to a base...but the base that isn't revolted by this nonsense is pretty small.

I suspect its all just for publicity.

A path using a server that's been *fixed to fit their alleged facts* and a mole, named Roger Stone, who set them up for a win and will say anything they need to win?

It's all so bizarre because I can't trust that the Plaintiffs and Defendants aren't entirely in cahoots. I am so tired of being forced to treat all situations like they are not when I really, really believe they are.

Maybe it's We the People who should sue the two parties for using Russia to influence the election and a bunch of other bullsh*t to blow smoke up our a$$e$.

I think many here are missing the point.

The DNC lawyer that filed this is possibly the stupidest person ever.

So NOW the defendants have the right of discovery too... let that sink in.

They can now investigate the matter.

They now have access to all documents the prosecutor has.

They now can depose witnesses!

I would make the first three depositions Obama, Hillary, Lynch.

Now, if the DNC at some point wants to withdraw, one single defendant can say "no" and the trial goes forward.

I'm assuming this is just a PR stunt for the midterms, but holy @$@! the DNC is stepping into this one.

I would get some rabid attorneys and go on the offensive... NOW.

The DNC just gave Trump a Christmas present, if he runs with it right.

Well.. what are they going to find at the end of this?

DNC/Russian collusion... the Steele Dossier.

This was the stupidest move ever because they moved the venue to the court system. Outside of the Mueller team.

The implications are staggering... LOL

Thank you for the compliment... I don't take them well.

Also, I hope to God you aren't suggesting I let that sink in given my first comment was on how the DNC is going to have to make their evidence available to the Defense for their experts to examine.

Not only did I let that sink in, first...but then I moved on to other thoughts that I wish people would let 'sink in.'

Thoughts that may not be so obvious as the discovery of evidence process.

The Dems are the gift which keeps on giving.

I'd love for Wikileaks to also sue and themselves dig into the discovery phase.

This folks, is a life lesson. Don't think and act on emotion. When you do, you end up like the Dems.
