Page load speed.

I was wondering if this was a sight thing or if it just happens to me.

For 1 out every 3 or so page loads i get a really long lag in the load.

I use an android device over wifi and dont have this issue on any other sight.

Any help/ideas would be appreciated.

Something on your end affect the loading. The ATS site does not. Most of us 300,000+ members have no issues.

Something in settings on your side.
PS Use DESKTOP version on mobile. Works better... Less issues

same problem here for the last week or so. I click a link (from the New list) and it can take minutes to load. Also posting replies I often have to click Post multiple times.

Glitchy on and off for a year already.

PC or Mobil doesn't matter.

Well it's a small comfort that it's not just me... for a second I thought maybe Alians or the CIA or the Alians that work for the CIA were messing with me.

Misconfigured nginx workers. All the workers are serving requests leaving none to start serving data after the initial tcp handshake. Had a similar issue on a client site that took ages to track down.

Been going on for some time.

Actually, it's a little bit of all three scenarios.

ATS merely shows you the door....it is your choice to walk through it. Lol.

Yup, definitely been having issues for a bit now. I've noticed quite a few mentioning similar, like increases in load times, double posts, and the like.

I say that ATS has become sentient and is trying to communicate. Badly and certainly not effectively, but trying all the same

Non members also use this site. I notice it at certain times of the day but not all day. In the old days (10-15 years ago) when Europeans tried to access US websites such as Microsoft, IBM and Intel the same thing used to happen, this was in the days before the transatlantic link (among others?) got extra capacity I am guessing. It is just a guess though.

Someone from The Shed thread besides me has experienced slow page loading as well.

It happens off and on for me. Today so far I'm good but wanted to add this.

Happens to me as well, and I have a solid 100mps connection, 1100 dollar custom computer......my stuff is always updated and regularly cleaned...

I have experienced this across different machines as well......

Gah! Running slow again!

been especially bad this week, any ATS mods know if they are looking into fixing this? I actually timed a 2 and a half minute page load spin today....
