There's a decent chance McCabe could be charged with obstruction:

The key element of candor cases is that the standard is higher for FBI employees than for the typical government official. The bar for perjury for example, is extremely high and requires prosecutors to prove a defendant’s state of mind. That’s very difficult, which is why few public officials are ever prosecuted for it—even in criminal investigations, it’s typical to charge obstruction rather than perjury. But FBI officials can’t simply avoid lying under oath—even omitting the truth could get them fired.

Why the FBI Fires People for 'Lack of Candor' - The Atlantic

Remember folks, this doesn't stop at McCabe.

Think that this referral could be one of the many thousands of sealed filings sitting out there in PACER?

That's probably why there are no specifics in the reporting of this referral. That information could jeopardize charges that are yet to be unsealed.

Yes. "Potential violation(s)."

Like I said, we'll see if it's a crime.

As of now, McCabes attorney has made a statement
saying they are confident he will not be prosecuted
unless the DOJ is significantly pressured.

This could be blowing smoke, but then again....
who knows with the DOJ.

I sure hope the the DOJ does something
because if they dont they are going to
cause a Constitutional Crisis!!

Yeah, the duel has also started between Comey & McCabe. Comey is almost certainly next in line for a referral(s.)

Details about the Comey memos strongly suggest he shared classified materials during his self-serving leaking (and government owned communications we might add) and will be found in various lack of candor issues himself from the times he's been under oath.

A few of them have some FISA abuse issues coming too it looks like. When you look at the players who still have jobs but have been reassigned and/or demoted at the FBI, there is strong evidence they are cooperating with Horowitz and Huber. Bruce Ohr has testified to someone---mostly likely Horowitz and/or Huber. The OIG report on McCabe shows how Lisa Page's testimony differed from McCabe's and it appears she turned over much of the texts between her & Strzok. James Baker is most likely cooperating as well.

Huber has been at work for months it appears and I bet he hasn't been doing nothing---especially having the resourceful and thorough materials and findings from IG Horowitz.

And if you've followed these stories fairly closely it appears the NSA has been cooperating greatly on a lot of these issues.

Just reading the open source intelligence evidence---all the letters, various transcripts, unclassified documents and their underlying materials, under-oath testimonies of Comey and others, etc. is eye-opening and has caused me to come to the conclusion there's too much momentum for the deep state to stop it dead like they've done in the past.

And folk forget there's a multitude of other investigations going on too (Besides Muh Russia & Porn Stars) from Arkansas to deeper D.C. The leak sting is an interesting topic. I'm pretty sure they got Schiff and more.

There's a war going on for sure and a bit o' justice just might get served for once. You can bet more is coming.

Thank you for the update.

I was wondering about Page, read the IG Report on McCabe
and it refers to a Special Counsel that Andy was working with.

Do you think that could be Page?

It seems like it must be her......

You are being intentionally obstinate tonight.

Exceeding the posted speed limit is a crime. However its up to a judge to say you are guilty of that crime or you are not.

Lying is in fact a crime.
Its up to a judge to determine if he is guilty of lying.

See the difference?

Also since you seem lost I do not work for the judicial system.

What? Prove intent?

Seriously?

What do you expect the judge to base their ruling on?
