Where is the rain needs for plants? I'm getting icicles here.

Tell me about it. We had sleet and snow all day.. up here we say there are only 2 seasons, winter, and getting ready for winter.

We got very little snow this year but a crap ton of rain.

We have a new term for this spring too.

Plants? They're still under a foot of snow.....

At seven this morning no new snow. By ten I went out to plow, six to eight inches of snow. At three thirty I went out to plow again, about ten to twelve inches. It took me forty five minutes to plow the second time. I went outside again at seven thirty to plow, there was about six inches again, but I slipped and fell and slid under the plow truck so I figured I'll just plow in the morning. If there is more than twelve inches tomorrow I may have to take out the tractor with the six and a half foot snowblower on the back and front end loader on the front.

What the hell are you guys complaining about, getting two feet in a winter storm is normal up here, falling and sliding under the plow truck is not normal though, the ground is kind of icy under that snow, my back and neck are a little sore, so is my right arm. It is hard to plow heavy snow when it is over fifteen inches deep in my driveway, I may have to use the tractor...no cab, need to put my big heavy boots on and scarf and chook and expect drifts of snow on my shoulders and head if I use that big snowblower on the tractor.

I went out for a smoke. Heard some poor frogs chirping in the distance. Snow flurries. The two do not go together.

Seventy six and scattered showers in South East Virginia but my yard is already full of flowers. My azaleas are blooming and they are planted beneath blooming dogwoods trees and are underplanted with Lilly of the Nile in blue white and soft pink. My Camelias are in full bloom . Dark pink, red, one that is pink with darker pink splotches and one pure white. April is my gardens shining hour.

Sure, we had some April rain today in MI, of the freezing variety. Actually, in the last 24 hours, I've watched it bounce all over the precipitation spectrum -- rain, sleet, rain, sleet, snow, freezing rain, sleet, snow, freezing rain, and more sleet. Should be getting a touch more snow tomorrow, too.

If I had to use exactly the right word to categorize Michigan's overall weather, I'd go with "bi-polar" -- it has some extreme swings here & it amuses TF out of me to no end. One day can push 70, and 2 days later, surprise! Here's a snow storm. A foot of snow out of nowhere by the end of this week would not shock me.

Who told you that? This is global warming ... I mean climate change.

It is supposed to be snowing like this. Enjoy it and turn your heat off so it stops doing that!

Well the people at Orville might wan't the wet to hold off for a bit .

We've had days of rain peppered by beautiful but chilly wind and sun.

Three nights ago the tornado warning sirens went off.

Nothing touched down in our little Valley, but it was quite the storm.

I moved to North Texas roughly 4 years ago and the weather has gotten progressively insane. Extremes of temp forkm day to day. I'm quickly beginning to not believe in "supposed to" anymore.

haha right... 50s one day and than foot of snow next

Tell me about it. It feels really bad to still be dealing with freezing cold and snow around here.

On an off note, it's 50ish here in Montana... no snow left, my cherry trees are starting to liven up.

It has been raining, but that's ok!!!
