IDK..

I think in most cases you can expect for people to act in their own best interest. Even if that best interest is only short term.

Even though being a crackhead isn’t in your long term best intrest, it can sure feel like it short term when your getting high.. .

The US continuing to aid the Syrian rebels is in NO WAY shape form or fashion in Assad’s best intrest. Him using gas the week the US says it’s going to leave requires some extreme explanation..

A) Is Assad losing and on the ropes where the risk might be worth it???

Everyone agrees no, he was winning..

B) is Assad running outta regular bombs, so the gas ones were all he had????

Everyone agrees no, he has plenty of conventional weapons..

C) could it have been a rogue Syrian commander??

Maybe. If so then it’s not really Assad’s fault..

But when you do the math from the rebels side....

A) were they losing??

Everyone says yes.. and were about to lose their western support..

B) did they have access to the gas and a shortage of conventional bombs??

Everyone agrees yes.. the west is scared to arm them too much.

C) is attacking your own as collaborators, for “the cause” a fundamental part of resistance fighting??

Yep.. that’s rebellion 101.. if they are not with us. They are collaborators and against us.

Imho we would need an extreme example to explain Assad doing it..

And that is really the bigliest elephant in the room..the lack of consideration, there are other options.
It will take time, attitudes will not change overnight..a fire starts with a spark.

I voted for Trump.. but not for the man. I voted for his position. His supposed urge to help America, while staying out of the rest of the world.

Obviously he's not doing that. And to be quite honest, his lunatic Twitter ramblings are really getting out of control. This man is the PRESIDENT of the United States, but he doesn't act the part. And it's getting very old. I don't really care for him anymore. I'm hoping he will still make good on his promise to build the border wall and fix immigration. I'm giving him another year. If its not at least STARTED by then, then I'm out completely.

Honestly I could freaking care less who is sitting President.

Doesn't affect my day to day.

So it goes....so it goes.

Not at all.

I'm very active in Making America Great Again.

I'm just saying that's Standard Operating Procedure.

Doesn't matter who's in the House.

Just be decent, hardworking, positive and productive.

Help others when you can.

Tackle REAL issues, not imaginary ones outside of your immediate grasp.

I swear, that's what we hired them for, isn't it?

Focus on what YOU can do to make the Country better.

That's just how I Swing in my State.

Cheers, Friend.

Whatever is causing this divide (I blame Media Madness - whether creating it or consuming it) hopefully more people will wake up and get their collective heads out of their asses.

How the f do you "act the part?"

Name one who has.

Is there a book of rules? A college course in president school he missed?

Or is one expected to do what the last 15 mofos have done?

When you are POTUS you can show us, OK?

Only thing more worthless than armchair quarterbacks are armchair POTUS'S

Keep treating him like Jeremy, he will speak in class.

Tenuous connection but needed a pearl jam fix.

Bonus;

Ya still alive, right?

Trump tweet; open to interpretation.

lol.

Then again, we can be gender fluid. That's a fav of the left.

I was never on the Trump Train.

I was damned sure The Other would win by a huge landslide.

But we'll see where things are by the next time the presidential elections roll around as to what Train I board. It all depends on who will run...The only thing you can count on is I won't be voting for any leftist/socialist. I'm losing my rights fast enough as it is.

You all do see what the left is doing right? They're using a porn star from 20 years ago to raid a lawyers office and expose every one of his clients? If you think Trump is the problem, you're sorely mistaken.

I'm OFF

anyone else?

Yep, me too.

This is just another 180 on his campaign platform, but just one too many.

Said he was going to drain the swamp, then filled it.

Said he was for lgbt, then pulled the trans military crap. (granted, the military is not a "right", and has rigorous standards, so I was OK with it, but why even go there at all? Just dumb.

Said he wouldn't go after weed, then we have Sessions fuming about it.

Said he wanted us out of Syria, then escalated it.

So yeah, I'm done. At this point, I'd even prefer HRC (something I thought I'd never say), since we're going to get her policies from the Deep State anyways, might as well have them minus the stupid tweets.

At least she's more honest while shoving it up your backside.

That's because you were conditioned to believe this.

Those of us who upset this apple cart, we simply didn't respond to polls, or just lied. After all, you folks made it socially taboo to support him, which just drove us more and more to vote. So we showed up at the polls, while your folks stayed home thinking it was in the bag. Meanwhile, the Bernites stayed home too, content that she'd win, but with no enthusiasm to vote.

In 2020, at this point, it almost doesn't matter who runs against Trump, they'd likely win. You can't keep doing the opposite of your platform and hope to be reelected, it doesn't work that way.
