I beg to differ. Trump looks like a chump. He just announced that he wanted to pull American troops etc. out of Syria, and lo and behold, Assad decided that was a perfect time to gas his people. Yeah, right. Me thinks I smell a red flag.

Trump wins by successfully knocking down a rogue state that used WMDs. the world looks to the US for leadership and he showed some.
and he makes Putin look bad. maybe he'll tone down his warmongering aggressive rhetoric.

having said that, I admit it's just the day after and, forgive the cliché, there might be 'more to come'

if nothing further happens in Syria involving US / Russia, and we don't see anyone else using WMDs for a while...happy ending.
