Contempt doesn't really do anything, impeachment will remove him from office.
I expect neither from Ryan. He is full of nothing but hot air.

Ryan was exposed by Wiki-leaks as one of 9 top Republicans who were deep-state anti-Trump. He probably still is.

Does that mean Rosenstein is a "good guy"? On second thought, does Comey like anybody?

I don't think Comey has a friend left in the world these days. Chernobyl isn't as radioactive as him.

Even if they don't have the votes in the senate to remove Rosenstein, impeachment would give Trump and Sessions the cover they need to fire him.

"Mr. Rosenstein's lack of cooperation with congressional oversight, resulting in the passing of articles of impeachment against him, forces me to conclude that he is unsuitable for a position of such power. Consequently, Mr. Rosentein is hereby terminated, effective immediately.
~Donald Trump."

Those would be beautiful words to finally see. Replace him with Trey Gowdy and say goodbye to the wasteful, damaging, Mueller witch-hunt.

They can simply take a vote and hold that little rat in contempt of congress. Then their following impeachment is for a crime against the House Committees, not against anyone in the Senate. Say rubber stamp, anyone??

Maybe that's why Gowdy is not seeking reelection. Maybe he has a better offer.

Not at all convinced Rosenstein is a problem.

Rosestein is not the problem. He was put in a no-win situation by Sessions. Rosenstein is apolitical. He was appointed initially by Bush, kept on by Obama, then again kept on by Trump. There’s a lot more going on than meets the eye.

Too bad, once he threatened congress for exercising their Constitutional duty of supervision/oversight he was done for. The only thing now is finding a good enough reason to terminate him so he doesn't get paid unemployment or any other benefits (like severance, insurance, retirement, etc).

Furthermore, they should deny him his last paycheck so he has to spend thousands in court fighting them. Being the DOJ, their team(s) of lawyers can extend any such litigation infinitely, bankrupting this child molesting traitor (Rod Rosenstein)

No sympathy for child abusers. Especially not a castrado like Rosencrime.

Q Message #537 @ qanon.pub... hinted at that, when Trey announced that he would not be seeking re-election this past January.

That's for sure! A LOT more.

Rod Rosenstein has been giving speeches and statements this month that make him seem like a unblemished angel. Get a load of this statement today, regarding REALITY WINNER pleading guilty to leaking classified information..

“Releasing classified material without authorization threatens our nation’s security and undermines public faith in government," Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said at the time of her arrest. "People who are trusted with classified information and pledge to protect it must be held accountable when they violate that obligation."

If that was true, why would he threaten Congress for asking for documents that are their legal right to see?

Why did he appoint Mueller to special counsel, when he knew that Mueller was a friend of Comey, who was just fired by Trump?

Why didn't Rosenstein recuse himself from appointing a special counsel, knowing that he would be a witness in the case?

What was Rosenstein's involvement in the Uranium Deal?

Rosenstein, as it would happen, also had worked with a guy named Mueller and Weissman when they were working on an investigation into Russia's illegal efforts to get U.S. uranium. And, in fact, they kind of had to jointly and severally put the quash on information about that investigation, because if they didn't, then the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S., CFIUS, including Hillary Clinton, would not have been able to vote to allow the sale of uranium that would end up in Russia's hands. And if that sale hadn't gone through, there is no question all those stockholders that benefited would not have been so anxious to put $145 million in the Clinton Foundation and probably Russia wouldn't have been as quick to pay $500,000 for a speech from former President Clinton.

Likely something like this...

Rod either do your job or get lost!

So he began to do his job even when it contradicted his past actions.

Kinda like a criminal investigator gathering info for his own upcoming charges.

Coming out now that the DOJ has not given up the papers !!!

A "Letter" is expected to either explain why, or ask again for more time..

Something is being hidden.

Something bad and wicked.

So bad and wicked that the public will revolt when it gets out.

Looks like most of the info was delivered.

But wait, they're still not getting all the FISA/Dossier stuff !!

Clever.

FBI hands House GOP thousands of documents on Russia probe

"Our efforts have resulted in the committees finally getting access to information that was sought months ago, but some important requests remain to be completed," said AshLee Strong, a spokeswoman for Speaker Paul Ryan, who got involved . "Additional time has been requested for the outstanding items, and based on our understanding of the process we believe that request is reasonable."

Among the outstanding items is a request from Nunes for documents related to the so-called Steele Dossier — a collection of memos compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele describing an illicit conspiracy between Russia and the Trump campaign to help Trump get elected. Trump has called the dossier a fiction, and Republicans seized on evidence that Steele's work was financed indirectly by the campaign of his political rival Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party.
