The investigations will continue and Sessions will not have little, if anything, to do with them. As it should be.

He is the Attorney General. The NY District is not Russia.

And Rosenstein is about to be fired, he is even telling his friends.

The matter was referred to the local/state authorities. How many times does that need to be stated?

Unless I am missing your point, which is possible considering your post is not very specific.

Do what? Stop the FBI from investigating Cohen?
That's your idea of the Attorney General doing his job?

I don't think he will have to...Cohen is in the process of filing a restraining order against all evidence illegally seized in the raid. Soon he will be getting everything back as well as none of it will be admissible anyway.

Besides I have yet to see what this has to do with Russian Collusion anyway.

It was legally obtained.
May as well drop that bone now.

At this point I have not seen anyone other than conspiracy theorists claim the raid was not legitimate.

get real.

no one has questioned the legitimacy of such but the legality

would you pretty please stay with the parameters of the things in the op and quit raising nonsensical points just so you can respond

I'm unsure of what your point actually is.

You're confused and can't follow basic conversation?!?!?

Say it ain't so!!!!

Indeed. I cannot comment on anything specific in that post because it appears to be mostly fanboy opinion.

Do you have something intelligent to add?

He still can't get involved with Mueller. Mueller handed the other case off. It's totally separate. How did you ever come to this conclusion?

Yes it has to be checked.

As far as a bone being dropped.

Perhaps you should look at the title in the op.

If sessions recused himself from the russia investigation and mueller went outside the scope of that investigation then now the ag can review the raid and the information gathered.

Now as fage pointed out if indeed sessions recused from all matters dealing with trump then we definitely need a new ag pronto.

Ok. I stand by what I said. Do you know what the term 'legitimate' means?

It means conforming to the laws or certain standards.

You are the one that mentioned the raid.

Don't bring it up if you do not want it to be discussed.

Why? To protect the president?

And you're wrong again. Sessions is recused from matters concerning the campaign.

And it's Phage.

I'm not surprised.

That happens and Congress has the memo ready to protect Robert Mueller. It's already drawn up and ready to go.

At this point I think it is safe to question whether or not these guys have any #ing clue what they are talking about.

He is the top cop the head attorney and yes absolutely if he was to find illegal activities in the way the raid took place then he would be able to proceed.

The raid was outside of the scope of muellers investigation.............
Therefore it is subject to the same case law every other case in the usa is.
If the raid was not done by the book for legit reasons then BAM someone in the justice department now has the right to review the raid.

PHage
Either we have an ag that works at his job or we get a new one.

I do not believe at all that what you brought to the table will hold up.

The reason is because sessions was refering to the russia probe with his remarks.

It would not be ethical for an ag to come out and say i will do my job except i will not do any of this or that.

Do you get it even if he does not want to the raid falls under his jurisdiction and if he does not take appropriate action in review then that is grounds for firing him now.

No evidence was illegally obtained and where did you hear Cohen was in the process of getting a restraining order?

I haven't seen anything saying that. I'm sure if it was true it would be on the news.
