So Jeff Sessions recused himself from the Russia collusion probe.

www.nytimes.com...

Since the raid of trump's lawyer Cohen was referred out of the investigation that means the raid now falls under the jurisdiction of Jeff Sessions.

slate.com...

So now the question is if the A.G. will begin to do his job now?

The investigations will continue and Sessions will not have little, if anything, to do with them. As it should be.

Ah yes... the investigations will continue... to infinity and beyond!!!

And despite your opinion (or wishful thinking) this now falls in Session's lap.

Jeff Sessions... the Silent Executioner. Wonder why he's been quiet? I'm betting it isn't because he's been busy with golf.

S&F for the OP. Let's see some IG report!

investigations will continue

No one has said different here yet...

Sessions will not have little

That is an opinion where if you call being able to receive all info gathered from the raid and determine if it was legally obtained little then carry on.

Keep in mind mueller has said trump not a criminal target and now he has reached outside the scope of the investigation.

It is winding down now.

Hopefully they were not waiting for the ats nutter to figure this out and let them know they now have the right to join in on the investigation.

I mean people have been frantically searching left and right for a way in to the special realm and now they have a bit of an opening.

As a Trump skeptic, you're rapidly becoming one of my favourite ATS posters.

Star and flag to OP. This is a long game but I'm sure the results will be worth the wait.

He is the Attorney General. The NY District is not Russia.

And Rosenstein is about to be fired, he is even telling his friends.

There's a lot of it today. Friday Freedom(Libby) Massacre(Rosenstein). Latest: Rod Rosenstein says that he is preparing to be fired.

I guess "Friday the 13th" is GOOD for some and BAD for others.

Another great point is that this raid was all bout the hush money for sex stuff.

Congress is up to 15M payout for such.

And just what do you think is the AG's job and your sound reasoning for such an opinion?

I'm unsure of what your point actually is.

Sessions recused himself from anything having to do with the campaign.

Therefore, I have recused myself in the matters that deal with the Trump campaign. The exact language of that recusal is in the press release that we — we will give to you. I've said this, quote, “I have now decided to recuse myself from any existing or future investigations of any matter relating in any way to the campaigns for president of the United States.”

What is the job of the US attorney general?
The United States Attorney General (A.G.) is the head of the United States Department of Justice per 28 U.S.C. § 503, concerned with all legal affairs, and is the chief lawyer of the United States government.

At this point I have not seen anyone other than conspiracy theorists claim the raid was not legitimate.

Keep in mind mueller has said trump not a criminal target

Ok. What does that have to do with the topic? Are you saying it to make yourself feel better, somehow?

and now he has reached outside the scope of the investigation.

No he hasn't. He referred the matter to the local/state offices, as he should have.

It is winding down now.

Could be, but let's not forget that is only your opinion.

Do what? Stop the FBI from investigating Cohen?
That's your idea of the Attorney General doing his job?
