Never remind a Fae-touched creature who they are.

It's no different than reminding a human of who they
really are.. it will get you killed.

I look forward to any more clues you can come up with.

This is a tough subject to research, without getting
completely lost in unsubstantiated fantasy.

have you ever had a pet?
how much do/did you love it?

would you imagine that there are beings who think about humans in similar way?

I'm a huge animal lover.
I've had dozens of very beloved pets.
Your premise?
Sure.
I experienced it when young.

(evil laugh) he he he hah hah cough splutter. . . .

Ahh the egregious, they certainly are the "ecosystems".

All I would add to your summation is the concept of a cosy relationship between some of the not-so-nice neighbors and certain people within the egregious.

So much to fix in this world . . . .

Edit: I would add that in reality there is the concept of survival through aliances to take into account. Just like humans do.

I wonder about my own relationship as a "pet" sometimes.

"you are so much more" is the reply.

Actually, I protect them.

Though they are quite able to protect themselves and me. The bigger ones anyway. The "littlies" I rescue and protect. The fairies for instance who fall victim to power seeking occultism, mystics and priest types.

Just how the relationship evolved - violently.

A history in martial arts where one is taught to face bigger and more powerful opponents is a sound investment in one's self.

Wado Ryu karate do.

I often wonder why monks in temples would go to the trouble of developing martial skills like the Shaolin Wushu. I reckon it is because it is a discipline you can take to the "inner". Come in handy with bandits too of course.

Funnily enough, mine don't talk much at all. I asked once and one said "we want to see what you become."

They do drop breadcrumbs for me when I hit a brick wall in my own interests like an occultiist or temple who has captives they shouldn't.

But really this is drifting a little off topic to Mr Springer' thread.

Naihanchi (groan) . . . With the toes pointed inwards.

But yeah a nice kata. Even if we don't spend much time fighting multiple foes in skinny Japanese verandahs.

I like the traditional and yeah lots of jujitsu in wado. Not much different to shotokan except shorter stances and a few technicalities.

We were under Sensei Sakai and not Sensei Suzuki. (Historically.)

Motives of "critters" are fairly on topic, as SWR would seem to have
Plenty of them, but agreed.

By the way, for what it's worth, Jeremy just announced the SWR documentary is finished, and will likely be available towards the end of summer. Not sure what medium it'll be on.

Honestly KPB yer gotta be more respectful when talking about the "phenomenon" at Skinwalker and elsewhere. They are sentiences first and foremost and far more intelligent and capable.

Personally I don't think science is the right approach to approach the subject. My approach is to just go meet them , anyone can do that if they are polite and thoughtful.

So I'll put together a thread on how to do it and I will do my best to "substantiate" and open a door to the "phenomenon" directly.

It will be on all digital mediums I would think... Digital Streaming (Netflix for sure, maybe Amazon and or Fandango, etc...), hopefully one of the Cable nets will pick it up too, it's right up several of their "alleys".

I would also expect it to be on Apple TV, Hulu, et-al...

We'll see who all distributes it but, The Orchard has a good reach in the biz. I suspect it will be pretty widely available.

I understand your position.. but i'm family... family gives each other hell, more often than not.

And science is something important to humans... I know it's not touch-feely.

Both species will have to adapt to each others unique ways.
