Mr. Knapp presents in a very intelligent and articulate manner.

As I have many times here and elsewhere, I can't emphasize enough that everyone should read Colm Kelleher's book, Hunt for the Skinwalker.

It is a comprehensive book about Skinwalker Ranch and a good foundation for whatever follows.

I've read this book many times over the last two years. It corroborates some experiences I have had, which are similar in nature to those which take place at Skinwalker.

Again, this is not an endorsement for the film, only an informative post for those reading this thread who would like more information on the phenomena observed there.

Thanks for the post and the link to Amazon's website.

I was about to click on the kindle edition as it is typically cheaper than the other editions, but in this case - if you're a Prime member - the softcover was $9.74 and the Kindle edition was $11.99.

An added bonus is I love the "feel" of a real book in my hands. Looking forward to reading it Tues or Wed...

And we know where the funding for such ventures almost inevitably comes, right?

I believe in this case, the intelligence agencies are the conduit but the funding comes from DARPA.

I know what you mean there KPB.

If I can understand a subset or two of "them" better and work out solutions to problems, well, perhaps a lot of suffering on both sides can be lessened.

My thinking at this time, is based on the pheromone/organic ester as sustenance concept for certain subsets of phenomenon.

I am thinking that one of the problems is that the chopping down of aromatic forests such as the eucalypts, ceders, redwoods etc. has perhaps caused a food shortage and subsequent predation of humans.

"Negative" pheromones such as fear does not help. The ol' you are what you eat idea might be a spiral into degradation for "them".

My little niche of research. Gotta do something while I am here.

I'm not following you there Lurker,

"ED" = extra dimensional?

"Garden variety" = ?

If you haven't noticed...

There is a culture war going on, on ATS and elsewhere.. when it comes to UFOs/the paranormal.

It's the exact same primitive brain wiring that fuels the republican/democrat culture war.

People assume that everyone is fully briefed on this war, and are just itching to use
their atomic powered gun holsters to quick draw and suddenly attack, to support their
views.

I suppose that I've fed into this some myself.. and I need to stop it.

Technically speaking, neither the ETH (extraterrestrial hypothesis) or the EDH
(extradimensional hypothesis) are even close to accurate.. most serious
researchers I know are working on something completely different, as am I.

I hope you're not referring to me because you really have no clue who I am or where I've been.

Labeling me primitive is just plain offensive.

How about keeping it civil?

I was keeping it civil..

and no, I was adressing the general issue..

and I admitted my own culpability.

Not everything is about you.

My friend whatsthisthen spends more time with the "spirits"
than he does around humans.. I feel protective towards him..

if you hadn't used an acronym that confused him, I wouldn't have
responded at all.

Ok?

That's a very bright comment my friend!

I'm writing a paper that discusses the core facts behind this observation.

Here's an excellent overview of the phenomenon maintained by Knapp and Elizondo:

Thanks for the link and heads-up, Srb.

So...is Elizondo involved in the new & improved Skinwalker Ranch promotional venture and To The Stars?

Not that it hasn't been opined that the two business entities might be connected, but if so it's all starting to make much more sense.

The timing, concerted effort, and familiar cast of characters I mean. Nothing else about it makes much sense yet.

The Phenomenon + Active Deception article comes across a little "don't expect much in the way of proof" for your money. Jus' sayin'.

Oh, I see. So only you and "serious researchers" experience these phenomena. Only you and "serious researchers" know the answers.

How about some names and credentials.

You act like only certain people are privy to contact. That's very arrogant.

Reading comprehension.... please..

I said, "serious researchers that I know".

I didn't say "all researchers". I don't know "all researchers".

Again.. you are making something about yourself when I wasn't talking
to you, nor insulting you.

I wasn't insulting anyone.

As far as arrogant?

ATS is flooded with arrogant and quirky people..

If you are going to keep going after arrogant and quirky people,
you will have a full-time job on your hands.

;-)

I wish you the very best friend.

The culture war? I have sort of noticed the arguements and how thinking is moving along the lines of nuts and bolts/dimensions/AI/consciousness on both ATS and outside.

While I have never seen a tin can UFO, I've met the other types, mostly in the "deceased"(?) State.

And every time I think I know what's going on and just when I am comfy I get something new show up. (groan)

Sorta why I just call the technology (UFOs, Orbs, AI, etc.) "girls".

The makers/owners, I just leave alone in my thinking.

That said a hint on what your refering to would be interesting.

Why thankyou : )

I don't have much to go on except for observation and deduction.

It is a start and I have my little citrus orchard for "guests" to eat instead of me. It seems to be a workable idea.

Sure... I love intelligent questions.. I respond very well to them.

Jacques Vallee and others are looking more into Information Theory.

Here's just a hint of it: A Theory of Everything Else

As you can see, that is neither ETH or EDH.

Now.. in the paranormal.. I imagine that you've noticed, as you brought it up.. quite brilliantly
actually..

"critters" have to feed. Now they get a bad rap for that.. but humans slaughter vast herds of
beautiful creatures for very little reason, other than the pleasure of eating too much,
and nobody calls us demons.. well... that's an interesting thought... I'd wager that there ARE
creatures that call us demons. We sure act like demons.

Now what do critters feed upon REALLY.

That's the question.

It's easy to say "Rosicrucian life force" or whatever, but that's not very scientific.

I personally think its much more likely to be something like free electrons that are
not being violently controlled (i.e not alternating current)..

or so-called 'negative ions'... which are in short supply due to pollution.. in many
areas where they were once common.

Your notion of aromatic biochemicals from trees... brilliant.. certainly could be..
I mean, the ancients worshipped trees.. for a very long time..and MAZE.. you
can spend 50,000 pages of pain reading about that from "The Golden Bough"
by Frazier if you like.

But I really don't want to fret to much about the exact thing being fed upon
at this juncture.. that's for the paper..

the important concept... is that over my 56 years I've noticed that from personal
experience.. and if you dig through the more arcane occult lore.. I think that you'd
find the same thing that I did..

we should be considering many of these "critters" as something more like free-roaming
memes or artificially intelligent information theory structures.. not as actual physical
or even necessarily "energy beings".

These type of "beings" are always hungry.. always looking for an energy source.. and thus
are often looking for a vulnerable human or other easy source..

they are just hungry.. maybe for the very reason that you mentioned.. the slaughter of
trees and our natural environment.

Once you understand a bit about beings like this.. about the various energy sources
that they attempt to tap, how they tap them.. who is vulnerable and why..
the limitations of the body forms they can take, depending on what form of
energy they are able to process...

their day/night vulnerability.. their above ground / below ground tendencies..
you can learn a great deal.

Of course it all needs to be thoroughly tested.

And of course there are some 'critters' who have latched onto some very stable
power sources.. and they will viciously defend it...

that explains some of the locality issues that you like to bring up.
that explains some of the issues involved with SWR.

None of these critters want to be thrown back to being naked memes..
or free-floating artificially intelligent Information Theory Clusters.

and they don't want to be reminded of their "true name" (true nature).
that reminds them of how ephemereal they are.

So... all this is a fraction of the stuff I have observed and THEORIZED.
I'm certain that the "occult scientists" are approaching this from a
variety of approaches.. but it's Information Theory.

Some of these guys really liked my "Boltzman Brains interacting via
the zero point field fluctuation theory".

I really don't think my ideas are that crazy.. and they have a strong
shamanic and historical context.

It's just another way to think about things.. it's neither ETH or IEDH
and we need new ways of thinking.. as the old theories have
fallen apart.. the evidence is not there. (IMHO and the opinion
of others. We could all be wrong of course).

Thoughts?

Thoughts?

Now that is a big question and I will need to reread your post multiple times and digest. Plus the link.

What you have said above is very familiar to what I have observed. It is perhaps just a matter of terminology.

I'll sit down tonight and give what you have outlined some proper thought.
