The fallacy that the right consumes its news primarily through television.

Let me get this straight.
You guys on the right belittled and mocked everyone on the left for years and then elected one of the most brazen jackasses on the planet as a middle finger to the left, and you want to talk about karma now that Trumps feet are being held to the fire?
Cry me a river.
And as always, a nice day to you too.
I invite you to peruse the board here for a glimpse of what I speak of. Look back to the Obama era, look back to the threads about him, look back to the AMOUNT of negative threads about him, then contrast that with Trump. Then, if you really feel froggy, you can look at the fact that Obama was president for 8 years and so far, Trump has been POTUS for just over a year.
Sure ATS isn't the worlds barometer, but it's a good way to show that you haven't the tiniest of clues of which you speak. Not even enough to fit in the bumhole of a gnat.

Or possibly this is just karma for 8 years of birther nonsense.
Yea, the Birther thing was adopted by most MSM outlets and almost ALL the republicans.
Derp.

But that isn't what you said? You were pretty clear in using only Fox.
That said...of course they don't. Its all about volume. There is 1 single televised outlet for a right leaning political mind to find an echo chamber: Fox. Beyond that, the only other alternative is to go online and find various blogs and whatnot.
WHich is exactly what we see. And, as it turns out, so many of those blogs are faked that the right, starving for news, ends up finding BS stories.
If media didn't lean at all, it would certainly help. But since they do...it creates this whole dynamic that we see play out here, with ridiculous blogs like Gateway Pundit being read and disseminated.

All I'm seeing here is "Do as say and not as I do" after eight years listening to Foxlandia bitch about Obama, Clinton, Liberals, and Socialists using all sorts of nasty language and hyperbole.
So enjoy your smug arrogance now, the hand of fate will not flinch when it's time to pummel your dumb ass.
I thought that's what the Trump election was supposed to do?

If that's the case, then this level of disproportionate response would seem to portend that the next Democrat POTUS is going to experience absolute Hell on Earth directed against him or her with a venom never before seen.

I really don't think I should have to spell out what I meant when I used that slur. I think you know damn well what I meant and are being deliberately obtuse to me (again).

I donno...it's not like Blackie McPresident ever got a free ride from the Good Ol' Party. That selective memory is really pretty amusing.

No I said Foxlandia. It's a slur for the right wing echo chamber encompassing blogs, talk radio, television, and print media and it uses Fox because that media outlet is at the forefront of the echo chamber. Though if you only consume right wing media, I can see why you may not have heard it before.
You are just intent on ignoring Sinclair Broadcasting aren't you? Also, conservative talk radio is probably the BIGGEST purveyor of right wing talking points. Probably moreso than Fox News. Not sure why you keep ignoring that either.
The media wasn't nearly as slanted as the right blathers on about until the right ostracized the left by declaring anything it disagreed with "Fake news". The MSM had nowhere else to go but left after the right abandoned its role of keeping it centralized.

Do you have to derail literally every thread you are in when you talk to me so you can ad hominem me? I seriously cannot remember the last time you talked to me about a thread's topic and not about me.

I consume almost no media. Its all biased, and I don't have time to read a dozen stories to try to understand it better. So I get quite a bit of news from ATS, as my aggregate site. I get a fairly wide breadth of news.
Can you tell me where I can view Sinclair's 7pm news broadcast?
Im not ignoring them. Im stating that they spend 30 minutes a day relaying scripted news from New York, or reporting local murders, covering the weather, and telling me how the local high school volleyball team did at least weeks tournament. Im not ignoring them...i choosing to not consider them. But if you really want...sure. Ok. Sinclair gets local news, and may spend a couple of minutes a day covering a story where political slant is even possible. Ill squint really, really hard and try to see your point here.
The video is just the most recent example of Sinclair stations’ strong partisan tilt. A recent paper by Emory University political scientists Gregory Martin and Josh McCrain found that when Sinclair buys a local station, its local news program begin to cover more national and less local politics, the coverage becomes more conservative, and viewership actually falls — suggesting that the rightward tilt isn’t enacted as a strategy to win more viewers but as part of a persuasion effort.
So you are agreeing its slanted, then?
That is all I needed to hear. Thank you.

Because ad hominem's is all you talk about or use as a defense. Pretty simple really.

He got a free ride from the majority of the media, which I personally think was probably worth a whole hell of a lot more than Trump's "free ride" from the GOP... which, come to think of it, how do the Never Trumpers fit into that narrative, Johnny? Is it really a "free ride" when you have asshats like John McCain and Bill Kristol within the GOP who do nothing but bitch about Trump? Your definition of a free ride is very different from most other's definition of the concept.
