The Amur Class Repair ship is currently out of Tartus port and hove to in international waters.

I usually pick up the High Frequency Morse Code weather report.

This is one from last night during 18 Greenwich Mean Time.

I only copy the latitude and longitude along with the course speed groups. The weather is international weather code.

RCV is the call sign for Sevastopol and RBIZ is the call sign for the Amur Class Repair Ship PM-138.

I don't think it is a case of them believing that their ships will be targeted in port but simply a case of heightened tensions that they will deploy to shadow and monitor Coalition ships in the region. The repair ship will just be in support or an extra asset to keep a look out.

I'll check tonight during 18 GMT to see if the Amur Class has changed position.

Russia's naval power isn't in its ships, it's in its subs. Russian subs are top notch, particularly the improved Kilo class, the Borei class, the Yasen class.

Also i have heard that the citizens were givin instructions to head to the bunkers and givin a list of items they should bring with them.

I do believe they are fully prepared to do battle over this incident.

I am thankful that somehow the heads seem to be cooling on the subject here in the usa.

It is actually in its missiles. Russia have seaborn missiles the US would have a big issues with.

In the meds... These superfast missiles would be a big problem. And the US have nowhere to hide from them. Russia can shoot from the sea land and air.
Russia have also installed shore based torpedoramps that can be armed with tropedoes and torpedo lounched missiles.

No problem. Thanks for the reply. I had another listen and the Russian Navy Amur Class Repair Ship PM-138 is roughly in the same position as yesterday and still hove to.

Headquarters Sevastopol is call sign RCV

The ship sent its routine weather broadcast to Sevastopol and also set up secure High Frequency communications. They send the frequencies in the clear using Morse Code but the data is encrypted.

On April 11, Russian warships kicked off naval
exercises near the coast of Syria, a message in the
international notification for aviation personnel
(NOTAM) and navigational warning for seafarers said.

The message contains coordinates of the closed
area and states the fact of firing exercises. The area
of the exercises located in international waters of
the Mediterranean is adjacent to the sea border of
Syria. It will be closed on April 11-12, April 17-19
and on April 25-26 from 10 to 18 Moscow time.
Russia currently has about 15 warships and logistics
vessels of the Black Fleet in the Mediterranean Sea,

From what i gathered she had a dirty nuke sitting in a container ship off the new jersey coast and was gonna frame the rouskies soon after election...

now if it was then understand that that type of hateful energy just not just disappear it has to be acted on or dissipated.

Contrary to the "strange" google's morality objections against Automation technologies, the Russian navy is in the middle of the renewal of its submarine and surface forces which will significantly and substantially produce surface and subsurface vessels that operate on remote orders and whenever possible without onboard personnel.

This is within the Russian strategic trend of so called "disengagement of human targets from the line of battle" aimed at removing or significantly reducing the chances of loss of personnel during military operations.

That's precisely the purpose of robotic, automated and remote controlled platforms.
