The problem isnt that your article is racist. The problem is that your article is tone deaf.

Those afro-caribbean communities have already seen increased policing it's been that way for decades.... and it hasn't fixed any issues. All it did was fill prisons.

Yes of late the liberal mindset has pulled back on the increased policing in an act of compassion... and that too has not fixed any issues. All it did was see to an increase in tensions.

Now you want to go back to failed polices of increased policing that will do nothing but full prisons and as soon as you get your way some liberal will want to decrease policing and do nothing but increase crime rates.

And so it will go back and forth in a never ending cycle where the underlying issues are never solved.

how are other ethnicities policed? in rural Manchester or the scousers.? if other high crime areas are being profiled im all for it.

Extreme socialism or extreme local law enforcement are the only quick fixes for these kinds of problems. Nobody from the nice parts of town want socialism and there is not enough money or resources in the effected neighbourhoods to solve the problem.

You can’t police tough areas like this with cops from the nice side of town in any sort of effective manner. You have to employ people who live in these areas. You have to balance out the crime with law enforcement and culture change that fits the bill. You have to create massive clean up projects that offer alternatives to the gang life and black marked/drug culture that exists in them. It takes dedication and focus and big time resources/$$$ and the neighbourhood has to want it to begin with.. Otherwise you have to let things run the course and collapse to the state of ruin before things burn down, people pick up and leave and things and start anew..

This isn’t an education issue either, it’s a culture issue. Poor people can live happy civilised lives if they choose too.

All the talking and clamouring about from politicians and media only serves to boost the egos of those who claim to want to look like they’re trying to change things for the better, and nothing effective will come from their perceived efforts.. It’s all smoke and mirrors until the locals actually become involved..

I think if you are concerned for the safety of citizens, you need to be honest.

If the police and government can't/won't do that, how will they help? Makes you wonder.

The gun crime in the US has the same theme. Small areas and narrow demographics skew the whole. Yet to hear the MSM and politicians, all 320 million of us need to come to heel or we are barbarians.

You might want to reread the op. Never is the word "immigration" mentioned. It is referenced in the wording without saying the word. Don't know if that's on purpose but I thought it interesting and worth mentioning.

Cultural tendencies due from exposure in other countries is referenced-not immigration.

All I can say is after reading the online articles and seeing who is involved and the names of victims, it does seem to be something to do with the recent immigrants who have come over. Either Middle Eastern, Asian or African and some even from Easter Europe so I gotta wonder if these groups just aren't mingling or is it something else? There's hardly any British names mentioned although it could be British trying to get those who have come to their turf and started war games or gang games. I dunno. It could be peer pressure to join the gangs if you move to the Blocks, you have to join or face being killed for being in the wrong place.

And the evidence is all too obvious. Why are there more whites in Britain then all other races ? You need more diversity, and then all this knife busyness will be over.
