Lol. How about showing precedent for a President pardoning a co-conspirator?

At this point it is such a gong show, I think Trump should fire them all and start over fresh, he needs to roll the dice and move on. If he fires the people he appointed as well he has some degree of cover, but not much.

WRONG.
Most Americans do NOT think trump should fire Mueller.

poll.qu.edu...

Just because you claim something and you really believe it doesnt make it true.

The only one who needs to be fired is trump and his followers

You do realize "trump and his followers" is more than one, right?

Solid argument there!

The post of JBurns you replied to you doesn't say "MOST AMERICANS"... it says this:

At this point in time, many in congress (and a vast majority of Trump voters) have signaled their willingness to support Trump's firing of Mueller

.

Regardless of optics, POTUS can fire any individual who is abusing or otherwise engaging in office misconduct

Then it's important to know that Mueller is not abusing or engaging in office misconduct.
He is not doing anything that is not 100% legal

Actually Cohen says they were very polite and careful with the families belongings.
They didn't storm the home seizing property.
They executed a perfectly legally obtained search warrant.

It's becoming infuriating how all these posters are assuming, without any evidence or proof whatsoever, that this raid was carried out improperly. What's even crazier are the ones who cite the procedures needed to conduct the raid properly as evidence the raid was improper.

More like Rod I need to get Comey out of my hair and end this investigation. I order you to compose a letter that will accomplish this.

Then I'll get on tv and throw you and your letter under the bus by announcing to EVERYBODY that the real reason I fired Comey is to stop this investigation.

Media is speculating what they think the warrant was issued for.
No one has seen it yet.

I don't think anyone should be fired for investigating possible crimes.

What I would like to see is equal application of the law, however, and not any of this partisan bullspit.

Yeah . The warrant was approved by Rod Rosenstein.
The rebublican. Appointed by trump...

When will you guys realize that this isn't a club. The members do not have to act as one hive mind.
These professionals took an oath to the constitution. Not to donald trump.

He can't fire those chums...

Unless he creates some distraction first.

If only there was some controversy that could take the worlds attention long enough to remove them.

I wonder what that could be??

He has to because he's only a temp. His time is up next month.

Maybe this is why trump hasn't appointed a permanent judge yet.
Knowing any decisions would have to come back to the DOJ. He just thought his team would be loyal little mascots instead of free thinkers who value country over corruption.
Sessions is again on the chopping block and Rosenstein is in line behind him.
Then it will be interesting to see what Congress does.

Paul Ryan is not running again. Seems republicans who are exiting have no trouble criticizing trump at all. wonder where he will stand in all this.
edit on 4112018 by Sillyolme because: (no reason given)
