There was a gathering thread somewhere few years ago ... can’t find it now

Anyway, anyone here live in England?? I’m in the south west, and I want to organise some kind of get together, probably a weekend camping in summer, either in Forest of Dean or New Forest, which is near me, if Peak District or Lake District closer to you I guess I could make my way up there.

The reason I’m posting this here is, my friend is not into camping, in the past I used to camp out with my dog. My dog died few months ago ... Going on your own sucks...

Ohhh and I’m not some creep, I been on ATS since 2002.

A long time since I've seen this said but "pic's or it didn't happen."

Very fishy looking posting history. You listen but you don't speak? And now you want to lure us into the forest?

I vote for the Forest of Dean.

Take bin bags and pick up litter on the way out, it makes the locals smile.

TENT? What's wrong with sleeping under a fallen tree or an overhanging rock?

Now I'm having second thoughts. You'm one of these 5 star types.
