I don't see any relation to Stephanie Clifford though. Most likely, Trump never even knew about her until she started violating the NDA. Thing is, people like Trump aren't notified/involved with every single woman that claims to have had sexual relations with him. Such claims are common for famous people, and sometimes it is best just to pay them to shut their mouth instead of trying to dispel the claims.

Most likely, she's so upset about him not being a signatory because she intended to use the NDA/payment as some sort of "evidence" about her statement. Fact is, it proves nothing. It doesn't prove its true, only inconvenient for someone running for POTUS.

And even if it is true, who cares? $100k is pocket change to Trump. Him and his lawyers are way too smart to use campaign funds for this purpose. 99.9% probability the lawyer paid it out of his own pocket without even consulting POTUS. This is very common for lawyers of such high profile and extremely rich clients, like Mr. Trump. Otherwise, Trump pulled it out of his own personal wallet and paid in cash. No untoward dealings needed. This is the President who doesn't accept his salary, remember? If he cared about that denomination of money, he wouldn't reject a very similar salary.

What is funny though is that Mueller's rogue team has listened to accusations on fake news CNN/Rachel Maddow and exploited them. Where's ANY evidence that money came from the campaign? I am waiting

Multiple sources saying the raid was for documents relating to the Stormy Daniels affair.

WaPo - FBI seizes records related to Stormy Daniels in raid of Trump attorney Michael Cohen’s office

FBI agents on Monday raided the Manhattan office of President Trump’s private lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, seizing records about Cohen’s clients, including those related to a 2016 payment he made to adult-film star Stormy Daniels, who claims to have had a sexual encounter with Trump.

Vox - The FBI just raided Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s office

The raids are a remarkable move against a longtime confidant of the president. Agents reportedly seized records related to Cohen’s $130,000 payment to porn actress/director Stormy Daniels, as well as other matters. Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, has said she had a sexual encounter with the president in 2006 and was threatened to keep quiet about it during the 2016 campaign.

Notice who has NOT been raided by the FBI yet?? Fusion GPS, Perkins Coie, Steele, Podesta Group, Clinton Foundation, Averatti, or anybody connected with the democratic side of the issues under investigation... Funny how that works, right?? Its nice we don't have a witch hunt/Coup/Election rigging happening before our eyes....

I heard about this on the radio and immediately thought to myself "I wonder how the devout supporters are spinning this on ATS!"

And wow! You guys are quick.

All I have to say is LOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Did you stop to think for one second - I have no idea what this is about, it may have nothing to do with Trump - or did you let out a big YESSSS!!!! Drumpf is going DOWN! when you heard the news?

Before talking about devout Trump supporters spin - you might look at your own, seeing as how you know nothing about what this about, only that you want it to get Trump.

Why don't you think back how many other times I'm sure you let out a similar gasp of glee - they HAVE HIM NOW!!! - and been 100% wrong. But instead of rethinking your hatred you double and triple down.

At this point it’s not about justice, but about justifying a witch hunt.

This is like trying to force pickles on a nothing burger, there isn't even a bun.

Where's the Russian collusion?

The Bible says truth and righteousness will prevail in the end. But in the interim there will be lots of good people ruined.

What does the bible say about lying serial adulterers who bribe politicians and defraud working class people?

Ask Bill Clinton.

They're saying this is because of stormy Daniel's which means they're using her story as a front to find something anything about Russia and bring down the president.

Or the FBI raids lawyers because of a 130k payment with election funds from a billionaire.

This whole thing stinks and I really don't trust a word being told.

That makes me think that they believed that he was transferring or hiding documents or other evidence--why else would they raid a hotel room, unless he's been using it as his office for weeks or something.

Maybe he was.

In any event, waiting for the official FBI press briefing is what we really should do. Speculating is too easy on this one.

Sometimes you must wave the left hand to distract from what the right hand isn't doing.

There is no privilege once warrants are involved.

To clarify when attorney-client privilege does not apply:

1) When the communications are in furtherance of a crime; 2) When the communications do not constitute legal advice; and 3) When the communications are with third parties (i.e. non-clients) AND are not for the purpose of providing legal advice

If this has anything to do with Mueller, time to fire his ass. This is so far outside the scope of "Russia collusion" debunked conspiracy theory it isn't even funny.

And yes, it was debunked the second Mueller conceded Trump wasn't an actual criminal target.

Fire him, and deal with the backlash later. No one is impeaching Trump, period. Worthless ineffectual GOP can't even get their act together to pass our agenda through congress, they sure as hell won't find support for impeachment. Really for any reason.

This is called desperation to find something, anything, on Trump before the witch hunt is shut down.
