To my fellow Sheddites, including lurkers.

I went for a wee walk last night to try and get a nice photo of the sunset.
The build-up to it was amazing! The evening air bathed in deep golden light. Hardly a cloud in the clear blue skies.
So, I headed for a spot with a great view towards the western horizon... and... in the 5 mins it takes to walk there... the sun had settled behind a dense cloud bank that I hadn't noticed sitting just above my horizon line and the whole scene fizzled out to a normal boring looking sunset.



Ach well, I did have a nice walk anyway, just no nice new photos to share!

Mate !

I live on the East coast and was relishing the prospect of a Californian sunset.

Old mate even called in our sunset with an animal horn !

It kicked to the right and set over mountains.

(I Still appreciated the warm gesture. )

Big Sur was perfect on our way up the coast.

A small cafe on the side of a cliff beckoned ...

Nothing but setting sun against a glowing sea drenched horizon !

At an astounding pace, my dreams of a west coast suset pic. Went, literally West.

Fog from hell ! Rolled in faster than Kanye and Kim could imagine !

Nek minit ... I am looking at clouds.

The same blanketing, boring ones you see on an international flight ... forcing an zobal expkiration of distractions.

I still live on East cost Oz. And we do get a sort of sunset in the horizon thing here.

Bloody hills !

This is the only photo I managed to get from last night (before moving to the better viewpoint and losing the sun in the clouds at the horizon line!)


It's kind of given me a hankering!
I might try and dig out some of my previous sunset pics...

OK, I found some of my sunset ones... (these were all taken in my local area).




Strangely, I seem to have many more "Sunrise" pics than "Sunset" ones???
Does that make me a morning person??? (I'll give you a clue... the answer is... Nope!)

no.



I have been doing odd jobs around the house.
I've also washed my van, cleared some stuff out of my workshop, fueled up my wife's car, put my old tent up in the garden to see if it's still habitable, posted some sunset pics, made lunch (cheesey beanos!) and am currently looking for a good Red Velvet Cake recipe because I have some spare beetroots to use up!

Hey! I kind of missed it and kind of like not. I saw that you had posted it to me, but i woke in the middle of the night to have a cigarette and i was really not in the mood for music. Now i saw it again and like you told me to do, playing it in full volume! great stuff! feels like my pair is growing bigger while listening!

Getting warmer here too but I have a nice cool room which doesn't get too much sun compared to other rooms in this building. I chose it deliberately when viewing the available rooms.

YEAH MAN!! It's awesome. Moist & sweet like carrot cake, but you can add cocoa so it's richer and... because of the beetroot it ends up a deep dark reddish colour.
I've just made a big slab of it!
Dig in!!

I hope she comes back. Things got too heated yesterday and it was mainly my fault. It won't happen again.

i just took like my third or fourth shower for today. Not washing myself with soap of course, only the first time. I soaked a towel in cold water again and now it is on my shoulders and on my back and i swear it feels better than sex! whee man, i really can't take the heat (better stay out of the kitchen?)

It was no ones fault. We are not looking for guilty ones here. One post lead into another and there were misunderstoodings.
