The Shed 19

I normally have no gripes about my neighborhood at all, but we do have the lone mystery person around here somewhere that likes to fire up their grill late at night and toss a steak or burgers on. Like they're doing right now. I know it's beef of some variety, that scent wafting through the window is definitely bringing a steak image to mind. And I'm hungry now. I'd grill up my own steak and solve the growling stomach that way, but the stash is frozen

Damn late night/middle of the night mystery griller. INVITE ME OVER.

Foxgloves, carnations (?) and something I cannot name. Plus that white flower/plant that I reckon butterflies love.

The ones I mentioned are more or less maintenance free and can be grown in pots. I like low-maintenance plants. Any petals they shed get blown away by the wind.

Oh yes, low maintenance is indeed good!

Mark's blood pressure was quite high earlier. Going to check it again now. Also on youtube, but still checking in.

Doing good. Still hungry thanks to the mystery griller, I wonder if my hubs would notice if I polished off his bag of Doritos? Actually, he would, it would just take a few days. I may be in the clear here

I threw chicken breast of the grill tonight for dinner, our younger kid kind of selected dinner. That & tagliatelle (slightly skinnier noodle than fettuccine, but basically fettuccine) I had to clean the skin & what little fat there was off them before I grilled them, so it wouldn't start a grill fire (we replaced the old grill I kept catching on fire...I may or may not have burned holes in the flame plates, among other things)

The cat did something very out of character for him while I was prepping. Normally, when he wants fresh meat, he can be a major, mouthy PITA while you're prepping. A nip at the ankle is about as far as he goes, though. He tends to just writhe on the floor like he's in hunger agony or something.
Not this time, no, nooo. He pushed his luck. He jumped ON the counter and tried to make off with a breast. "Just what the hell do you THINK you're doing!?" He dropped the meat right there and went & sulked in the other room. Fur dude, did you really think that was going to work? XD

Beautiful spring morning here. Just finished reading my morning newspaper, "The Daily Shed", best stories, cheapest price.

Black coffee and vanilla ice cream for breakfast. I don't have any plans for today and i don't need any. If something happens today, i just let it happen without planning.

Just in the past few days, the 20 c mark has been met in southern parts. In the north, you can still see snow here and there. Right this moment, a little bit before 1pm it is 18 c where i am. Very pleasant, not too hot. I am not that good dealing with heat.

Mark is out getting prescriptions filled. Over 300 bucks. He has the money and I could have helped if he didn't so there is no reason to wait like that.

He waits to the last damned minute and one was his damned high blood pressure med. This Morning it was dangerously high, but he has to run off to get his blood pressure med along with some others. He is with his Brother. He feels fine, but we'll see if he can get it down. I told his Brother to take him to the emergency room or quick care. I was going to go with them, but they want to see if it comes down after taking his pill. He looks fine and is acting normal. I will watch him carefully when he gets home and can call the ambulance if I have to.

I have anxiety and he doesn't help by not helping himself. My gut is in a knot. How many times do you have to tell someone not to wait until they run out completely or only have one pill left or whatever? How many? He is an intelligent man, but sometimes... GRRRR. He had two mini strokes before, you would think he would learn.

So stressed out!

Oh... You both have my sympathy.

My opinion is that you need to get to the bottom of this. Sort it out. This is not cool, and it has happened more than once. Some solution has to be found, because this is literally a life and death issue.

This Morning his blood pressure was dangerously high. He didn't have any of his blood pressure meds left so didn't take one this morning. Plus...he was coming down with a cold. Once he picked his meds up and ate, it came way down and a while later it came down a lot more. He is still having tests to see about any blockage in some artery etc. He is too stubborn for his own good. I get so sick of warning him to order his meds while he still has some and not wait until he down to the last friggin pill!

He has a number of specialists.

Awww, HUGS my friend! I'm exhausted and off for a nap now. I'll be bright eyed and bushy tailed all night after that. LOL

I chilled with my new neighbour tonight. He is cool, unlike my last neighbour. Dutch people are nice. (The previous neighbour was not Dutch) No offence meant to non-Dutch people.

Wasn’t too long ago you were ripping your hair out ( metaphorically speaking ).. and look where you are now. No stress of moving and a nice new neighbor. Patience does pay ... even for Jacy it has.
