Ooh! Ooh! I wanna play!!! (Said in my best Horshack voice while raising hand and waving it wildly...)

Let's see... Oh! I know:

"Man dies in fire and ATSer authors shoddy thread for cheap political points."

Or how bout this one --

"Main dies in fire and ATSer creates shoddy thread for pretty stars and flags."

Ain't this just sooooooooooo much fun??? Not.

Making a thread after such a tragedy to discuss the issue of sprinklers and whether or not any buildings should be exempt is a practical and reasonable discussion. Such a discussion can lead to corrections and improvements and reforms that save lives in the future.

But this thread sure ain't it.

Sprinklers were not required at the time, though Trump could have installed them as a selling feature. But everything Trump is half baked.

Regulations are good. Regulations save lives. Regulations protect citizens from sleazy, unscrupulous developers.

Good Lord. Every article written mentions that the tower is "well built." It was built in 1989 when sprinklers were not required. But consider: This fire was a big one, yet it did not spread. It was confined. And it took the firefighters awhile to get there, so it's not all about how well the fire department did. Consider a similar fire in London not long ago. What happened there? The whole building became an inferno. THAT was "shoddy construction." To call the Trump Tower "shoddy" is a cheap and ignorant shot that has no credibility whatsoever.

And just who asked you to be a voice of reason? Folks don't want well thought out discussions that actually look at facts and reason them out.

You're gonna trigger somebody if you ain't careful!

Just a outrageous statement from a triggered anti-Trumper as usual.
You do know that is where Trump has lived for years correct?
Sorry the guy was killed but how is that Trumps fault?
Everything Leftist is less than half baked.

Anything, absolutely ANYTHING to put this guy in a negative light.

Do you know the average person in America now thinks the mainstream media is just an arm of the DNC?

Reap what you sow... the midterms are going to be actually funny.

My prediction on how big the blue wave of 2018 is going to be...

Then how come all the special elections have gone to the Dems, and all the Republicans are retiring?

What a useless hit piece.

POTUS could easily avoid the sprinkler discussion. He just needs to do like Pelosi/California and force people to live on the street!

Interpretation:

Donald Trump murdered (deliberately killed) an innocent man. Donald Trump should be executed. Donald Trump hates everyone and everything. Donald Trump is destroying the universe through the very nature of his existence.

Isn't trump the biggest liberal out there?

History of Donald Trump's political donations

Trump has donated $553,390 to New York politicians, and $344,900 of that has gone to Democrats. When asked why he has supported more Democrats than Republicans in his home state, Trump replied, “I am a businessman. And when, you know, a Speaker of the House or head of the Senate or, you know, people call, you know, I generally speak. As a businessman, you wanna be friendly with everybody. ..

He cares more about money than people's lives.

White collar criminals destroys more families (some people spend their entire life savings on Trump University) and they take short cuts (by not installing Sprinklers etc) that causes more death. Entire Trump empire is build on slave labor (USA or UAE golf courses).

Trump brings the worst of both worlds ( his top donations on Republican side went to John McCain).

Do you really believe trump personally oversees things like installing sprinklers in his properties? Give me a break. This is the failure of a building manager at best. Trump has more important things to do.

As a developer, it was his choice not to have sprinklers installed. The developer doesn't swing the hammer, but tells the guy swinging the hammer what he wants.

That is a LIE.

Trump haters have been taking the guns and ignoring due process since 1934.

After Trump's comment that shill named Hogg showed up on the scene.

The difference between the two was Trump said take them away from people like the Florida shooter aka the 'nuts'.

Hogg wants them taken from the rest of us aka the 'sane' people.

But hey what the eff ever.

....r.

Trump repeated his gun control measures , it is not just one comment for taking away guns without due process. He re-iterated his stance on guns.
Trump congratulates Florida on 'very good' gun legislation

President Trump said on March 8 that he's "almost finished with the legal papers" to ban bump stocks, and praised Florida's state legislature for passing gun-control measures.

Imagine another sitting president saying something like this, it will be a political suicide - his opponent couldn't even get (s)elected, NRA should have declared war on President, ATS will be filled with 1000s of comments like "They are coming for our guns'. Since it is Trump, just crickets.

He is shooting his own support base. Since it happened in 5th ave, may be he was target practicing to see if he gains more support.

LOL at special elections... if you didn't notice, most on the Republican side don't give a rat's ass about them. Why would anybody? You are voting for someone who will spend what... 8 months in the office?

Dems love them though... the MSM can use them to energize their base!!!

The only big turnout on special elections is the side that doesn't have to take time off of work to vote.

It's OK.. we have some real elections coming up. We'll see...
