Lenticular Reentry Vehical

The above artical is about a once Top Secret, nuclear stike aircraft that was desing for the USAF during the cold war. It was supposed to be able to attack from space with nuclear missiles. As we all know, one idea usually leads to another. Do you think a modern spin-off of this plane might be in use by the Air Force? If there is one, it might account for some of the UFO sighting around places like Groom Lake.

I remember reading about this thing in a PM article very interesting. I find it interesting that for hundereds of years people have been reporting Disk shaped crafts. Long before we knew what shapes could fly or even what re-entry was.

Then with this project it turns out the disc shape is somewhat ideal for re-entry.

"Its disc form would dissipate the heat of re-entry, then act as a wing"

Seems alittle shady if you ask me.
