Walk on by

its ok to walk on by
walk on by and let life strive
although you may cry at what you see
don't forget its ok to turn a blind eye
As sad as many things truly appear
ask yourself did I make it so?
If the answer is no
you will know, its ok
to walk on by
Sure compassion may arise
but one must live their life
the way one knows.
As long as one is clear
wishes harm to none
one is free to walk on by.
walk in your own particular way.
Some say no, thy must join in.
But what good is it
to jump into a sinking pit?
It's better to walk thy way
take another stance
give peace a chance.
Sure there may be times
you feel like throwing a line.
But make sure
you don't fall in.
Each of us are free to walk
in their own particular way.
Walk on by, steer clear
it's ok.it fine.

Well said. It's funny how words can move us; since our first conscious tug in the womb.

Yet there are people who want to ignore our biology for the sake of argument and pretend words can't compell, good or bad.
